"She's allergic to the rain. You must not let her go outside when it's raining because her skin will have rashes and she'll have a high fever if you do so. This is a rare case but please do as I've said. The child's life would be in danger if she's been wet by rain water."

"Yes doc. We'll do what you said." My mom said.

My eyes are still closed though gising na ang diwa ko.

My whole body hurts as I tried to recall what happened to me.

~FLASHBACK~

"Hey Rane! Let's go!" Lily said.

Lily is my best friend since I was a kid. She's almost my sister if we're in the same blood.

I nodded at her and covered my head using my arms.

Susugod kami sa ulan ngayon. I loved the idea of being wet by rain's water. First time Kong mabasa ng ulan dahil Hindi ako pinapayagan nina mommy at daddy.

Lily called on me again.

I prepared myself as I took a step and a raindrop fell on my skin that stung.

Napatigil ako at napaatras.

Ang parteng nabasa ng ulan kanina ay nagkaroon ng rashes.

It really stings at ang sakit sakit niya.

"Come on let's hurry"

"Blahblahblah"

Students were arriving and it's like a mini stampede when they came.

They were running outside and being wet by the rain.

The students pushed me unconsciously which made me wet by the rain.

My whole body's been wet and it really stings.

I started to see rashes all over my body as my sight became blurry.

Next thing I knew, I was in the hospital and I lost my consciousness again.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I moved my fingers and they were numb as hell.

"Oh, Rane! You're awake! Thank God!" My mom said.

"Oh... So you're allergic to rain? But your name sounds alike with the rain. How come?" Lilianne asked.

Lily transferred to another school when we reached high school.

Lilianne became my best friend since then.

"Hindi ko alam. Basta ang alam ko lang, kapag nabasa ako ng tubig ulan ay mgakakaroon ako ng rashes. Secret lang natin ah?" I whispered at her.

We're in the cafeteria and we're eating silently habang nagkwekwentuhan.

Bawal ang maingay sa Cafeteria though pwedeng mahina lang ang kwentuhan.

The owner doesn't want the school area to be noisy.

So there's a quiet rule. Tsk.

Kung hindi namin susundin ang rules, we'll have demerit points. Ugh!

But there's someone na nakakalabag ng rules without getting demerits.

"Sure. I'll never ever say your secrets Rane." She assured me.

We continued to eat silently but there's a noise that took everyone's attention.
