Running late again but I didn't give a fuck. My supervisor was always late anyway. Nothing was new. A monochromatic world for me.
As soon as I reached my workstation, I saw my crush. What the hell is she doing here? She's lovely as ever. What the heck! She's coming towards me! Jeon Jungkook calm down! Don't embarrass yourself please not in front of her.
"Luna this is JK. He's the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of this team. He will be the one to on-board you and do the knowledge sharing (KS) sessions with the processes you will be taking over. I hope you two could get along well."
What the hell? Is this for real? What's happening in the world?
"Please to meet you." She extended her hand and I grabbed it without any hesitations. Her voice was so sweet and her smile was contagious. She looked like an angel.
"Hi. Welcome to the team." I managed to choke out. I'm so lucky! I couldn't believe it.
They went on their way to continue the introduction to the other team members. I will be the one to on-board her and do the KS. God, this is my chance!
"Hey JK! Who is that sexy girl?" A short, well-built body framed guy suddenly asked
I grabbed his shoulder and said: "Park JImin-ie that's my long time crush. She will be joining the Travel and Expense Team." I couldn't contain my excitement. I was smiling widely.
"Yeah shout it out loud so she could hear you." He commented sourly.
Oh shoot! I forgot! We are only an isle apart.
I was adjusting the height of my workstation since I got tired from sitting, then I felt a familiar presence.
"Uhm, hi." She shyly greeted me.
"Hello. How can I help you?" Yes, full customer service for you my dear angel.
"Aah... May I know when you are free so we could start the on-boarding and KS?" Why are you so beautiful in every angle?
"I'm free right now if you want to start." I gave her my playboy smirk.
"Uhm...sure. If you say so." She looked weirdly at me. Does it mean my charms doesn't worked on her? I need to think of a new strategy.
"Okay so we are Travel and Expense Accounting Team." I began. I need to be fully professional so that I could impress her. "We basically pay the employees and the banks for the business related expenses incurred by the company. We have two type of credit cards. One is the usual credit card that we use. Last is the purchasing card which is solely used to paying the purchase orders of the admin assistants or the company phones and the like. Any questions so far?" I asked while still smiling.
"None as of the moment." She smiled. Then and there I noticed her dimples and I couldn't help but to stare and smile. I was so captivated by her.
"So I assume there are different banks and cut-offs for the payments." She suddenly said.
Wow she's smart just like the rumor says. "Yes in fact per countries they have different cut-offs and banks. Wanna guess why is that?"
"Because it all depends on the contract between the company and the bank. The lower the service charge the better." She confidently said. And there I was staring again in amazement.
"That's correct." I commented after I forced myself to go back to reality. "The countries you will be handling are as follows: Philippines – Shared Service, New Zealand, Great Britain, and Korea." I stated plainly sexy. "Don't worry I will let you start with the daily activities so you could familiarize yourself with the process. Then after you familiarized yourself we can move on to the weekly activities then the monthly one." I reassured her.
"Can I have the copy of the procedural documentation?"
"Here." I handed the papers to her and incidentally touched her hand. It was so soft and smells of strawberries. I noted in my mind to give her a hand cream like that.
"Thank you. I will try to follow the proc.doc. first then if I don't get it I will call you. But I will try to do it in a while since Mochi is still fixing my new workstation." I couldn't help but to stare at her angelic face. I couldn't help but to feel at ease with her.
"Hey Angel its all set." We heard JM called out. "You know I shouldn't be the one to fix this but since you are close to my heart I gave you my time and service." Luna and JM laughed so hard.
So they are close. Hmm. I have a rival then.
