Recently I made a promise to someone very special to me… I promised them that I wouldn’t hurt myself anymore. And I’ve been trying my hardest to keep that promise. Sometimes I just feel like giving up… like it’s too hard to be strong. Sometimes I wish I had never made that promise, but then I look at the butterfly and the words on my wrist and I remember why I made the promise, and why I have to stay strong. No matter how hard it seems.
