D.O POV:
I woke up to having the room feel cold. I got up to check the window and saw it was raining. I breathed onto it and started drawing small little drawings all around. We weren’t doing anything today so we decided to sleep in. I had a feeling to just go outside and play in the rain for some reason. I walked to Kai and shook his shoulder. “Kai” I whispered as I heard him hum. “I’m going to be outside k?” “What. Why? Isn’t it raining” he said as he yawned with his eyes still closed. “No” I lied. He then nodded and I went to change into a sweater. I wore boots and placed the hoodie on my head before leaving the room. I closed the door quietly behind me and tip toed to the door. Not wanting to wake up any members. “Well well where are you going this cold morning” Suho said from the couch. “I didn’t see you there” I said as I faced him. “So where you off to?” he asked me. “Just going to walk here and there” “Maybe someone should go with you so you’re not alone” “No it’s okay! I’ll be fine” “You sure?” “Ne” “Alright” I turned around and sighed as I turned the knob. I was just about to close the door when Suho said my name. “Don’t forget an umbrella” “It stopped raining” I said as I looked outside. “You never know. I’ll take it just in case. But if you don’t want to then that’s fine by me” he said before closing his book and heading to his room. I locked the door and walked down to the front. As I was walking all I felt was the wind hitting my face. No raindrops. I took off my hoodie and started to walk around the area a bit. I decided to stop by a park to view the lake.
Jongin POV:
It was three in the afternoon. All the members were cozy and warm while I was stuck in my room freezing with just shorts and a tank top. I walked out of my room yawning and sitting on the couch next to Sehun. “Hey can I borrow your sweater?” I asked him as he quickly shook his head. “Tao?” “Gege has it” “Baekhyun?” “Mine’s in the dirty clothes” I sighed as I went to the room again. I decided to borrow one of D.O’s. He wouldn’t mind, we’re friends. I went through his clothes looking for a sweater. When I found a dark blue one I quickly put it on and sighed into it. I covered my nose and mouth with the neck of the sweater. I placed the bottom over my knees as I brought them to my chest. I smelled his sweater hoping it smelled just like him. Which it did. The scent made me smile and feel happy inside. “Hey Kai” I heard Suho say from the doorway. “What are you doing” “Nothing!” I said as I stopped smelling it and looked at him. “Sure seems like something” “It was nothing!” “Alright alright” he said as he walked inside. “I never said you could come in” “Oh well. Hey um has D.O come back?” “D.O? No. Why did he go somewhere?” “Ne like two hours ago” “Two hours ago?” “It’s pouring rain now” he said as we both sat there quietly looking at the ceiling hearing the rain grow louder and louder. I grabbed boots, jacket and an umbrella “Where are you going?” he said as he followed me outside to the living room where I was putting on the boots. “Going to find D.O” “Hurry because I heard there gonna be a storm later” Tao told me. I nodded my head before going off to find him.
D.O POV:
Maybe I should have listened to Suho. I was standing under one of the cafes umbrella figuring a way on how to go home in this rain. “Um you can come inside. It’s warm and I can fix up something for you if you like” “No it’s fine! Thank you though” I smiled at the waiter who nodded and went back inside. I love the rain. Just not the fact i’m soaking wet at the moment. I stood outside rubbing my shoulders looking from side to side looking for someone I knew or at least something to help me. The wind started to pick up that I decided to stop waiting outside and go inside. The lady gave me a cup of coffee as I sat down. I let the warmth of the coffee run through my hands feeling it burn a bit at my finger tips. I took small little sips as I looked outside. I watched as cars passed by making the puddles of water spring up. I kept looking outside while sipping my cup and stopped when I spotted something. More like someone. Is that Kai? I placed the cup on the table leaving a tip and thanked them as I ran out the door. “Kai!!” I yelled as I waved at him. I walked to the street light pushing the button and waiting for it so I could walk. “Kai!” I kept yelling but it seemed like he didn’t hear me with all the cars passing by. I yelled his name louder and I finally got his attention. He waved at me and once it was time to walk I rushed over to him. I got under the umbrella and hugged him. I stopped because I forgot I was wet. “You’re soaking wet!” Kai said while touching my jacket. “Why didn’t you bring an umbrella and why did you take so long just for a walk??” Kai asked with a worried face. He was worried about me? *bump bump* “Um well it all started when I left. See Suho told me to take an umbrella but I didn’t want to. So then I went to the park to stare at the lake, guessing I took longer than I thought. As I was going to walk back it started to pour and then I regretted not taking the umbrella with me” I said as I lowered my head shamefully. He grabbed hold of my hand as we started walking back to the other members. “We should hurry because you could catch a cold!” he said as we speeded our pace. “I don’t mind” I said. “But I do” *bump bump* there it goes again. What’s up with me now a days? We soon reached the house and I quickly went into our room to change into something warm. “Take a warm shower before doing so. It’ll be better” I nodded as I grabbed a towel and went to take a bath. I basically sat there for about twenty so minutes just making bubbles in the bath and playing with my secret duck which I hide. I heard a knock on my door and the door open. I quickly hid the duck behind me and pulled the curtain hiding myself. I heard the door shut again and peeked to find him gone. I sighed before taking out my rubber ducky again. I soon got out and changed into sweat pants, long sleeve shirt and I wore my long socks. I jumped onto Kais bed before he came back. I grabbed hold of a pillow fluffing it before he came back inside. “Is that my sweater?” I asked as I got a closer look at it. Kai blushed and started to take it off. “Here!” he said as he threw it at me. “I only asked if it was mine! You can wear it!” I threw it back at him. We started throwing it back and forth until I grabbed hold of his collar and placed it on him. “There! Now you’re warm to” I said before I ruffled his hair. “Thanks hyung” he climbed onto his bed as he felt my kinda still wet hair. “It’s wet” he said as he pulled me off the bed and to the bathroom where the hair dryer was. He told me to sit down on the along bathroom sink and I did as I was told. He blow dried my hair until there were no more wet spots. “There you go!” I got up and looked in the mirror nodding. As we walked out to the living room I began to sneeze. “I told you so but of course. No one listens”
