"Luke." I hear my roommate Micheal yell.

I ignore him.

"LUKE" he yells louder.

"WHAT?!" I tell back annoyed that he didn't take the hint when I ignored him.

"Luke, you can't stay in there forever. I know you're upset on what happened."

He was standing right outside of my locked bedroom door, I could tell on how it didn't  take long for his voice to meet my ears. I don't reply back.

"Luke, let's go out tonight. Just you, me, and the other boys." He says.

I reply with a loud groan.

"I'm taking that as a yes, be ready in 30." I hear Michael's steps down the wooden floor hallway and then door open and close.

I slowly get up from my bed. I walk to my door and unlocks it ever so slowly. I open it and stick my head out. looking both ways down the hall, like a little kid walking across the street for the first time.

I quietly walk to the kitchen and makes myself a glass of water. The clock flashes three little number in a bright green light reading 6:50. Dang I really stayed in my room all day.

I walk back to my dark and calming room, I switch on a little lamp. Giving me enough light but not over barring. I walk to my closet. I pick out my most basic outfit. Black skinny jeans, black long sleeve tee, and pair of all black converse.

I walk to the bathroom and finish getting dressed.

"Luke you done?" Micheal says walking down the hall approaching the bathroom.

"Yep." I turn the light off as I walk out meeting Micheal in the hall of our three room apartment.

"Okay calum And ash are about to be pulling up." I nod my head to his response.

"So where are we going anyways?" I ask approaching the kitchen.

"We're taking it back and going to Rudy's" he replies leaning on the kitchen counter.

I do another nod.

Calum and Ash are waiting outside according to Micheal. We head out the door.

We take these busted down black steel stairs, the walls making up the apartment complex is an old wash out brick. It has a dull red shade to them and small cracks running through some bricks. It was nice. it gave me a vintage feel, but I'm sure others would disagree and just call it old.

We get in the car, the boys are already singing to some random song that Ash has put on.

I climb in the back seat following with Micheal. I try to stay quiet not really in the mood to be going out, that didn't last long because being around these idiots just made you in a good mood.

Kali's pov

I'm on the side of the street, trying to Signal down a taxi. Living in San Francisco it shouldn't be to to hard.

After what seemed a life time and nice bright yellow taxi pulled up. I opened the door and climbed in.

"Evening ma'am" an older man sitting behind the driving wheel greeted me as I got comfortable.

"Hello" I say back with a flash of a smile.

"Where too?"

I reach into my pocket, I count 40 dollars.

"As far as 40 dollars can take me." I say not making eye contact due to me being embarrassed.

I see him nod from the corner of my eye, as he begins to drive off.

After about 25 minutes, the man pulled to the side of the road.

"Okay missy, here's your stop." He said.

The little screen that read how many miles you went and how much you would have to pay, the amount read 60 dollars.

"I'm so sorry sir, I only have 40." I said making me stop and think about how I thought I told him that.

"Oh I know, leave the other 20 on me." He said.

"Thank you so much!" I say handing him the 40.

"Have a good night" he says.

"You too!" I say stepping out of the taxi.

I examine my surrounding. It's more of the old side of San Francisco, it has old warn out buildings. Not in a gross way. It doesn't even look like it belongs in the city of San Fran, and maybe that's why it's so cool.

I start to walk around a bit.

The sun practically set and it was the moon's turn to take over the sky.

I started looking around at the buildings, to see if I can find a food place or something.

Across the street I see a small worn, but really nice building. It had bright blue neon lettering that read "Rudy's." I walked towards it and took my shot.
