jaemin was acting weird today
renjun was being gloomy
did they have a quarrel?
what happened?
i'll try approaching renjun first.
"Hey... You're not ok.."
he just ignored me
my face became gloomy now, too
his expression darkened
leaving me in worry
sigh
"What happened..?"
he looked at me with him precious brown eyes
which were now filled with visible pain and anger
"Ask Jaemin."
he let out a quiet murmur
i patted his back before i walked towards the other frowning boy
his faced painted in sadness
the classroom was now silent
as the cool breeze from the window sends chills down our spine
as soon as i was about to ask the sulking boy infront on me
he talked first as if he read my mind
"I'm faking everything. I see you as my sister. I never really liked you that way. I'm sorry."
I sadly smiled, knowing that I've realized a day ago
i didn't feel hurt
as much as i expected it to
it didn't tug on a heartstring of mine
only numbness surrounded me
expecting tears to come out my eyes

i quietly replied
"Honestly, I just realized yesterday.. neither do I, Jaemin."
his gaze now turned to the floor
guilt wrapped our hearts tight as we avoid eye contact

"For two months, we've been hurting Renjun."

"I could ask you that."

"Renjun still loves you."
