Chapter 8;A Best Friends Heartache

Kid's POV

It's been over a month and we have began to be best friends.I haven't really told her about my love but I think it needs time.

We walked down the streets of Death City and went to go get drinks at Death Cafe.

We sat down in a booth.

"Hey Kid." The waitress smiled.

"Hey Lia." I smiled back.

Lia was a waitress here at Death Cafe and I was her regular customer.

"So is this your girlfriend?" She said,taking her notepad out.

I turned red and blushed.

"No Lia." I replied,coldly.

"Well anyways,what can I get for you guys?" She asked.

"Can I have the regular?" I asked.

"And can I have the hot chocolate?" __ said,smiling.

Lia smiled back.

"Okay." She said,walking away.

"So you know her?" ___ asked.

"Oh yeah,I am her regular costumer." I assured,I think she thought of it the other way.

"Okay." She smiled.

"Here are your drinks." Lia came back.

"Thank you." We both said in unison.

TIME SKIP TIME

We walked out of the cafe and it started to rain.

"Damn it!" I said.

"What is it Kid?" She asked me.

"I forgot to bring an umbrella." I said,disappointed.

"Oh it's okay." She smiled.

Her smile was perfect.Everything.Soon,
her smile faded away.

"What's wrong?" I asked,worriedly.

"Kid,I know this sounds weird but.." She couldn't finish,tears began falling out of her eyes.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Kid.I'm moving." She said.
