You've found a story that hooks you in.  Completely.  You feel what the character's feel.  Their joys, triumphs, conquests are yours.  You cry when they hurt, you call up the squad when someone fucks with them.  You're so absorbed because the writing is just that damn good.

Then it happens.

The story is abandoned.  The writer hasn't updated in 2, 3, 4 years.

You're left hanging.  Wondering.  Lost.

If you're gonna take the time to write something out there for public view, you should kind of finish what you start.  Little rude to leave readers hanging.

I know, I know.  Life happens.  I get it.  I have kids, a job, extended family, and friends.  We're busy.  But damn, can't you like leave us a note?

"Hey, bitches.  I quit.  Come up with your own ending."

And I know, I get it.  This is Wattpad.  I could always go to a paid site.  But then I'd miss all the great stories here that I enjoy and that inspire me.   ^-~
