My Fault// Sequel to Hurting More Than Once

Chapter 1: Forever

ZACH
It's been a month since Jack asked me to be his boyfriend, and it's been the happiest month of my life. We were going out today and all the boys wanted to come, so of course we let them. We have been leaving them out on 'details' of our relationship, even though there's really nothing to tell. We loved each other, and that's all we needed. We finally got to the mall and that's when Jack dragged me away. "It's almost our 1 month and I wanted to buy you something." He says, smiling widely. "No, Jack. You don't have to." I say. He puts a finger over my mouth and quietly shushes me. "I want to. So you stay here. I'll be back in about twenty minutes." He says with a wink. I roll my eyes with a light chuckle and nod.

Now, what to buy? I walked around and found myself in the Gucci store. What would he want? I looked around and my eyes landed on a ring. It was small and black but it is super cute. It's super expensive though. I'll take two. One for me and one for him. I walked up to the clerk with a smile. "Hi! Am I allowed to customize something?" I ask. "That depends, what do you want to customize?" She responds. I point to the black ring and she smiles. "How many?" She asks. "Two. And on the inside, can they say 'forever'?" I ask. "Of course. It will be an additional 100 dollars." She says, rubbing her arm. "That's okay." I say. She nods and unlocks the glass case, grabbing two rings. "How soon can you get them done?" I ask. "Tomorrow." She responds, typing in the total. "Perfect!" I beam. She laughs and finishes typing whatever she was typing. "Your total will be 1,020 dollars." She smiles. I grab out my credit card and pay. "Have a good day! Come back tomorrow and they should be ready by tomorrow!" She shouts. I smile and wave back. "Thank you!"

I see Zach tapping his foot and scrolling through what I think is Instagram. I chuckle and sit next to him. He jumps slightly and I giggle. "You're too cute." I chuckle. He blushes and puts his phone away. He looks at me, his head tilted. "You like what you see?" I say with a small smirk. "No, I mean yes but that's not why I'm looking at you like that." He responds. "Why don't you have anything? I thought you said you were going to buy something?" He asks. "Oh, but I did." I respond with a wink. He rolls his eyes and gets up. "I'm hungry." He complains. "Already?" I groan. He nods with a giggle and drags me too the food court, where we see the boys already sitting there. "Hey guys!" Daniel shouts, lifting his head off of Jonah's shoulder. "Hey guys!" Zach giggles. Zach and I sit down and lace our fingers together. A light giggle comes from Jonah's mouth as he and Daniel peck each other's lips. I roll my eyes at the two and Corbyn scoffs. "Jealous?" Daniel smirks. "Haha, no. I just miss her and she's in class sadly." Corbyn huffs.

ZACH
After we ate, we took an Uber back home. Even though everyone was excited about tour starting again, I was still traumatized. I didn't report him because he just seemed like a crazy fan. But what if he comes back? What if I see him? I now realized I was squeezing the life out of Jacks hand. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. I quickly removed my hand from his and sat in silence.
