Chapter Twenty Three: Blaze Powers Up! Time For More Training

Then I started making hand signs then I started changing again and got my wolf ears and tails then in a blink of a eyes I punched Akari death in the face "no way! How'd you" Akari said getting up then I grabbed some shuurikens and threw them at Akari then made some hand signs making a bunch of shuuriken clones and they hit akari

Then Akari struggled to get up and I growled "Time to finish this" I said making hand signs but before I could finish sensei came in front of me and stopped me "Blaze that's enough your going to far" Azami Sensei said

"But sensei" I said then changed back to normal the I glared at sensei then back at Akari and ended up in front of him but sensei grabbed me by the collar "I said that's enough" Sensei said "alright I give I forfeit just leave me alone" Akari said then ran out

I sighed then sensei letted go and I felt a sharp pain on my shoulder "I should also sealed that mark before something bad really happens" Sensei said and I looked down "Since Akari forfeit the winner of the 5th match is Blaze" The Chunin said then with a puff of smoke me and sensei we're gone

"Alright I can move again I should go back" I said getting up and headed towards the area were the Preliminary rounds we're being held then I walked in the room and saw the candidates that won "looks like you made just in time Blaze" Lord hokage said then everyone turned around to see me walk in

"Man it looks like I missed the rest of the fights that sucks" I rubbing the back of my neck then started walking over to them and got in line 'hmm my teammates aren't in line guess they lost.... Just great' I thought paying attention 

"Hmm what's going on?" I asked seeing that everyone was getting slips of paper then I grabbed one "good now everyone has one going from left to right tell me the number that's written on your slip of paper" Ibiki said "I've got 8" Dosu said "number 1 of course" Naruto said "7" Temari said "5" Kankuro said "3" Gaara said "9" Shikamaru said "2" Neji said "6" Shino said "hmm... 11" I said confused "10" Uh.... Namiko on of Akari's teammates said

"so that means Sasuke will be number 4 right" Lord hokage said "very good now I'm going to tell you about how the final selection tournament is going to work" Lord hokage said "it's that what the number are for drawing lots" Shikamaru asked I just tilted my head confused

"Ibiki you may reveal the ninja which ninja has been paired up" Lord hokage said "yes sir" Ibiki said then turned the clip board

Naruto Against Neji

Gaara Against Sasuke

Kankuro Against Shino

Temari against who ever wins with Dosu and Shikamaru
And I'm against Namiko 'man I don't even know how he fights this is totally unfair' I thought complaining "may I ask you a question" Shikamaru asked raising his hand

"You may" Lord hokage said then he put up one finger "alright if this is a tournament does that mean there's only going to be one winner" Shikamaru said "yeah does that mean only one of us can become a Chunin?" I asked interrupting Shikamaru and he glared at me

"actually it's quite the contrary there are going to be serval judges for the final round including myself the Shinobi leaders and the  kage's the Lords from the various countries that hoped that ultimately be assigning  your missions to you through this tournament these judges will be able to make a thorough evaluation of your abilities they will then decide whether any or all of you posses the qualities required of  a Chunin even if someone looses the first round they can still become a Chunin" Lord hokage said

(*sigh* my character wouldn't even have a chance to show off his skills thanks alot Orochimaru)

"There's actually a chance that every one of us who compete from the final selection could become Chunin" Temari said "correct but conversely there's also a chance that none of you will be chosen the advantage in fighting more rounds of the tournament is in getting more chances to display your talents in front of the judges who will decide your fate does your answer your question Blaze and Shikamaru?" Lord hokage said/asked

"Sure" I said nodding then looked at Namiko with the corner of my eyes 'man this sucks that means I could be the last battle but that also means I need to figure out how Namiko fights or I don't have a chance of winning but then again Lord hokage said if we loose we still have a chance of becoming Chunin hehehe' I thought smirking

"I thank you all for you patienc now let's us ague until next month" Lord hokage said 'hopefully I get to fight Naruto I want to see how strong he's gotten since I want here to see his fight' I thought looking at him
