" Your pout iz cute luv" I say.
"Shush" she says stuffing her face with cotton candy.
"Wanna go to da ferris wheel?"
"Uh, I'm terrified of heights"
"It'll be okay luv, I promise" I reassure her. She gives a hesitant nod then follows me to the ride. I can tell that she's anxious about this so I kiss her cheek again. She smiles up at me before we get on.
The further we go from the ground the tighter she grips the bar in front of us. I lay my hand on hers then gently pry her grip off the bar to hold her hand. She blushes and hold my hand pretty tight. As we get to the top the wheel stops. It's kinda dark now so the wheel it lit up in bright lights of blue, green, yellow,orange, and red. They all reflect on her (s/t) skin, (e/c) eyes, and shiny (h/c). Even the stars she is looking at show up in her eyes, mainly the all black one. She looks stunning.
"Hey luv, look at me" I say as I take out my phone. She looks at me and I take a picture. "Now dat's aesthetic"
She smiles at me. "Damn right I am. Hey can we go look at stars after this?"
"Of course luv" I trace little circles on her hand with my thumb. She starts to get a faint blush on her cheeks.
We get to the ground and get off the ride. We walk around for a bit until she stops and stares at something.
"Stuart, I want it"
"wan' 'hat luv?" I follow her gaze to what she's looking at. It's a giant stuffed blue narwhal. "How bad do yew wan' it?"
"Very bad" she says.
"I'll win i' for ya" She grins and drags me over to the game. It's Skee Ball. "Itz time to put da balls in da hole"
"Did you just make a Deadpool reference?"
"...no, well maybe"
She smiles and rolls her eyes.
$40 and a few tries later, I finally get her that stuffed animal. It's almost as big as her.
"I feel bad that you spent $40 on me" she says clinging to the animal.
"Itz okay luv" I walk her back to the car and she puts the narwhal in the back. "Ready to go look a' stars?"
"Fucking always"
"Great, I know dis place ou' in da country where yew can see da milky way"
Her face lights up like fireworks. "Well fuck let's go"
Normal POV
An hour and a half later you're in the middle of no where on a dirt road. The only lights are the headlights and the milky way. You stare in awe at the billions of stars and the purple and blue streaks.
"Alright I fink dis is fa' enough" 2-D says as he stops the car. You immediately get out and look up smiling. The galaxy reflects off your black perfectly.
2-D chuckles. "Come 'ere luv"
"Okay" you say still looking at the sky. 2-D is laying on the hood of the car looking up at the sky. You walk over and lay beside him. You realize that his eyes also reflect the galaxy.
"This is amazing" you chirp. "Ohh, there's the Pleiades. They're that cluster of stars and they're the closest stars to Earth. 444 light years" you smile. "Some call them the seven sisters because they were formed in the same dust cloud in a few thousand to a million years they'll be far apart" 2-D listens to your little astronomy lesson. "There's more stars than there are grains of sand in the world. Just imagine all the fucking galaxies out there and solar systems..." You trial off and your face drops. "Sorry..I'm rambling
"No, no luv I like it, I'm actually learning fings. 'Ow do yew know so much?" 2-D asks.
"Well, I wanted to be an astrophysicist. I went to college for it but then I ran out of money to stay so I thought I could move out of America and just start new" you explain.
"Dis may sound selfish bu' I'm glad yew came 'ere" 2-D says.
You smile softly. "I'm glad I came here too" 2-D leans over you and places his lips softly on yours. He kisses you as he cups your cheek. You melt into the kiss and stay like that for a minute before he pulls away.
"I love you're li'le ramblings. I fink they're cute, especially da ones about space. Ramble away" he says.
"This may take a while"
"We 'ave all night"
For the next 2 hours you talk about space, stars, and galaxies while you both stare up at the sky.
