he made her sit on the chair, in the cabin which he usually took his break in. wordlessly, she sat down and tucked her legs up so her head rested on her knees while he stood over her, his hands on his hip.

"Where have you been?"

"Aw, you have missed me-"

"Stop it."

her shoulders slumped and she looked down, refusing to meet his eyes.

"I have been busy."

"With?"

she sighed, he leaned back onto his desk and and waited.

"I had plans with my friends."

lie. she was lying. she had yet to even meet his gaze

"Really?"

"You know what, I don't need this."

she got up to move but he grabbed onto her arm. not looking at him, afraid that he will see the tears in eyes.

"Two options, let go of my arm or ask me out."

a few seconds passed but he slowly let her go, and she ran out and the bigger part of him wished he just asked her out so she would have stayed just a few minutes longer.
