when eddie came home he unpacked right away and took a cold shower. after the shower he went straight to his room and started reading a book.

"eddie bear, someone's on the phone for you" eddie's mom said, eddie went downstairs and got the phone.

"hey, who's this?" eddie said

"hey, it's richie, wanna hang out?" richie said and chuckled

"sure, i'll be there in ten" eddie said and hung up

he got his bike and biked to richie's place. richie answered the door and eddie could immediately smell the alcohol coming from richie's apartment. "hey" richie said and smiled softly "hey" eddie said, shyly, the two boys got their bikes and went to the park, where they sat down on the bench and talked.

"so, eddie, how's your mom? i haven't heard from her since last night" richie said
"shut up that's disgusting" eddie giggled and pushed richie lightly, the boys laughed and talked for two hours, then they got back on their bikes and went to eddie's place.

eddie opened the door lightly and peeked inside to check if his mom was around, eddies mom didn't really like it when eddie had friends over, and she didn't like richie at all, so eddie had to be careful

"eddie bear? are you home?" eddie heard his mom say, from the kitchen. "yeah, it's me, mom" eddie said and started walking up the stairs. "is someone with you?" eddie's mom said "y-yeah it's just richie" eddie said, and there was silence after that, richie and eddie went to eddies room and eddie closed the door gently

richie glanced at eddies bookshelf, and the books , "wow, you're a nerd!" richie said and laughed. "shut up" eddie said and giggled, richie looked at eddie and said "eddie, you've got something on your shirt" and then he pulled the old 'swipe the finger against the face' trick. eddie punched richie in the arm, and the the two boys gazed at each other for about ten seconds

"so uhm, who's this boy that you like?" eddie said, and looked down, at his feet

"it's you, eds" richie said, very quietly, but loud enough for eddie to hear, and he took a step closer to eddie

eddie felt butterflies inside of his stomach, richie leaned in and without thinking, eddie was doing the same thing. richie places his hand on eddies jawline, and kissed him, a passionate kiss, richie's lips felt so soft, and his touch was so gentle, eddie felt like he was floating in the air, he couldn't believe it. he kissed richie tozier.

'okay richie, just lean in, try to be brave' richie thought, while he leaned in, closer to eddie, until they broke the space between their lips, richie felt alive, sort of happy.
