Running Scared

Epilogue II: Forever And Everafter.

"My heart became darker and darker until it drop down dead. I killed people, families. I shedded blood on every inch of earth that I walked thinking that this is how happiness looks like.

"But the truth was that I was digging a  black hole for myself, love was becoming like another star that was way too out of my reach. Not that I wanted it.

"But then the star finally decided to come closer to the black hole. The black hole pulled it in thinking that it will snubb out its light as well but what the black hole didn't know was that the star was too full of life to become dark. It's bright light lightened up the hole to the point that the black hole turned into a paradise. The dead heart couldn't help but start beating again because of the beautiful pureness of the star.

"I didn't come out of the hole, I never wanted to.... You just converted it into a paradise that now it seems like there was no hole in the first place. I don't want the power, I just want you and only you and I want to show you what lies in the world. And I can't do that if I'm the King. I just want to spend the rest of eternity with you travelling the world and living life because even after 621 years, I've realized that I've not lived a single minute but I want to now. With you." Alec stopped speaking as he took me in his arms because I was bawling my eyes out.

I wrapped my arms around him and hid my head in the crook of his neck.

Every word he breathes speaks only of love. The love he has for me.

Pulling back, I kissed him forgetting the audience we had around us. He deepened the kiss, delving his tongue in my mouth while grazing his fingers on my cheek.

I pulled back because I knew that if I don't stop then this will go more deep in the throes of passion.

"Those were some words Alec." Adam said as I tried to catch my breath. Strange that I don't even need to breathe yet I'm needing it now.

"Even I'm not taking the Kingship back Alec. This Kingship destroyed me as well and I think the rightful owner is Adam since he is the first Bona Fide." Jack said and every one nodded their head except for Adam.

"I can't. It belongs to Alec and I don't think that I can--"

"You can and you will. You'll become a fine King Adam. Trust me." Alec said as he intertwined his fingers in mine.

"But--"

"Adam.. Alec will help you plus its true that you are the righful owner of the crown. Just accept it... Please?" I asked him and he sighed while nodding his head.

After saying goodbyes and deciding the date for marriage we bidded them goodbyes and went home.

"That went good." I said as he kissed my neck. We were currently lying on bed, just talking and damn, it felt so good.

"I'm sorry I didn't even ask you if you agreed with my decision after all you're the Queen and you had-"

I pushed him on his back and climbed atop him bringing my lips on his, "It doesn't matter because I'm your Queen." I said and pecked his lips.

He pushed my hair back, "Why did you agree to be with me Littleone? You know that I can't give you kids..."

"Simple... I love you and kids are not everything Alec. And we can always adopt, there are so many of them who need parents. We will adop in future. And you may think that it affects me for not having kids but Alec it doesn't. I've always wanted to adopt because it hurts me too much when I see the orphans alone, they don't know what parent's love is and I want them to experience it." I said and he kissed me till my heart skipped beats after beats.
