Chapter 13 - Piano

"What you thinking about?"

Kendall's voice caught me off guard,

"Oh, you know. I just want to know what the hell Simon wants me for now."

I could see by the look on Kendall's face that he didn't believe a single word that I said,

"Come on. Tell me."

He said as he placed his hand on my left knee.

"I was thinking about us."

Kendall smirked instantly as he looked at me,

"What about us?"

He asked in such a seductive tone,

"I'm just happy to be with you."

I smiled as he pulled into the driveway,

We walked inside hand in hand as we reached his room, all of the lights were out?

"What the-"

"SURPRISE!"

Everyone who worked here screamed,

"What is this for?"

All of those came running towards me and squeezed me,

"It's a party for you becoming Syco records new songwriter."

Simon said as we all went together and formed a crowd and danced like the idiots we were.

"May I have everyone's attention."

Simon says as he stands up on a chair, we all resist the urge to laugh.

"I am going to announce the new song writers piano man!"

We all crowded around him excited to see know who he chose to be my new songwriter. The door behind him opened up. I was so surprised to see who it was.

"Mr. Louis Tomlinson from One Direction! This means that you two will be spending a lot of time together."

My worst nightmare just became a reality. I can't believe that Simon chose him to be my musical instructor. I am going to rip James head off and cry myself to sleep.

I looked up at him to see that he was staring blankly at me, waiting to see my reaction. Everyone was waiting for my reaction. I couldn't handle this so I just stormed right pass Louis and out the door. I ran to my car and got my keys out as I heard someone calling out for me. I fidgeted with my keys until I dropped them and quickly picked them up and kept looking for the right one. Damn why do I have so many keys! Before I could put the key in to unlock the door, I felt someone slam my back against the car,

"Roxy."

Louis breathed heavily hovering over me.

"We seriously need to talk. You've been avoiding me since the day you started working here!"

I couldn't face him, hearing him feel so angry that I've been ignoring him has really got me confused. Is it because he just doesn't like people who ignore him or is it because.... he loves me? Forget that. I don't think so. Why can't he just leave me alone like I asked him? Oh yeah, because he's Louis.

"I really don't have to answer that, do I?"

I asked him still not making eye contact.

"Yes! Why won't you tell me what's on your mind? Anything is better than just pretending like we were never in love. Because we were, and we still are."

I can't believe him. First he thinks that he can just force his thoughts on me. Force me in to his little game once again. But I'm done, and he knows why. He just doesn't want to accept it.

Louis walked frustratedly in a circle and back to me,

"I'm just trying everything that I can to get you to talk to me. But all you do is push me away."

Louis let out a deep breath, looking at the ground

"You won't even look me in the eyes anymore. Have I hurt you that much, Roxy?"

"Yes. You have Louis. You don't understand that I don't want you back in my life. Stop trying to sneak your back in because it's not going to work."

I said as I yanked my car door open and got in and shut it as fast as I could as I locked it and started backing up. I could see how upset Louis was as I watched him in my rear view mirror. He's no longer the Louis I fell in love with. He's just a mess. He's just a mistake. He's still that young high school boy who ignored me and despised me all of those years.

Sorry about the suckish ending but it had to happen. #sorry not sorry.
