Chapter 12 - Save You

I say, "please listen to what your heart is saying, 'cause I'm the one who's calling you baby, so baby, it's you and me, yeah.

I stopped playing as I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, I took in the familiar pomegranate scent as I tilted my head up to see Roxy's hair fall on my shoulder,

"Hey baby."

I said as she sat on my lap straddling me (don't think sexually about this okay?)

"I like you're song, but I didn't know you could play the piano?"

We both laughed as I notice a little sparkle in her gray eyes.

"What?"

She said as my facial expression went serious,

"You're so beautiful."

I admitted, she blushed,

"Thanks."

She said as we both smiled, she stared at my lips and back to my eyes. Lips, eyes, eyebrows, lips.

I decided to make my move as I leaned in and closed in the gap that was in between us.

"Hey Kendall, I just wanted to ask-"

We both looked up at James who was smirking with joy,

"Ha! I told you Roxy!"

His smirk was plastered at the sight of us,

"I knew you guys would do it somewhere in the office. But I wasn't thinking that you would do it on the piano chair. My vote would have been the desk or in the recording room. Record what you're doing in there-"

Roxy aimed a water bottle at James head and threw it, he moved just in time for it to miss.

"Haha! Missed me, missed me. Now you gotta kiss me! Oh wait, I don't want Kendall's sloppy seconds!"

She wanted to get up and kill him but I pulled her back,

"Just ignore him."

She smiled at me as I intertwined my fingers with hers,

"James, can Roxy and I please have a moment alone? It's important."

James nodded as he made kissy noises while he walked out the door,

"So are you going to tell me where you were the past few days?"

She sighed as she got up and paced,

"Please Rox. I'm you're boyfriend. I'll understand-"

"Zayn's little sister commited suicide so I went with him because I understood what he was going through."

She sighed as she went to leave, I could see she was about to cry,

"Wait Rox."

I hugged her from behind,

"Zayn kissed me..."

My heart completely shattered,

"Did you kiss him back?"

She shook her head,

"He only kissed me because he was feeling helpless. Please don't hate him Kendall. He really is a good guy and I would hate for him to get hurt right now."

I nodded my head as I pulled her hair back,

"Louis was there also... We had a fight..."

I let go of her as I went back to the piano and sat down, I really wish that he would just leave her alone!
