When the chip gets activated

Welcome to my life Chapter 1

In the era of invention , innovation and technology development, here I come to introduce my self , hi I am Jess , a 19 year old girl ,majoring in computer science , technology have been a passion for me since I was born , I always wanted to know the secrets and mysteries that created devices , here I am sitting in the computer lab asking uncountable questions to google and google gave me the answer.
WHAT IS A MICROCHIP?
A microchip or integrated circuit is a set of electronic components on a single unit.
Yeah , everyone here have a microchip , implanted somewhere at the back of their necks ,  I have mine , I can see it , it is a blue dash , it never scared me because until now the government didn't decide to activate it , they are doing further research on it , to make it safe for everyone.
Yeah , I will tell you more , everyone in my family have a microchip , they started implanting them in 2020 , the year I was born , but my dad died 2 weeks after getting his microchip implanted , I was 2 weeks old and that's all what I know about my dad.
But the mystery of his death kept my mind busy , why is he the only one to die of a microchip implant?
But my mum seem to get nervous when I ask her , so I stopped asking her.
My mum told me , that my dad worked in a engineering company more specifically software engineering , they were studying how microchips are going to change our lives and the way we lived , my dad knew a lot about it , he knew something that made him vote against the microchip implant in the world technology meeting , he used to say its a danger to the humanity if it wasn't well protected from hackers.
But if it was dangerous why we are all implanted with microchips?
The answer is I don't know
Tomorrow I will turn 20 years old , so I will take a day off from studying and spend the day with my mum , I enjoy my mum's company because she is like my best friend , I have a very strong relationship with my mum , she always devoted and dedicated time for me since I was a kid , even though she was busy most of the time , I appreciated every second with her and losing her will be a nightmare for me.
So I slept tonight way too early , so I can wake up early and have all the day with my mum.

My mum's hair is very short , so her microchip is always visible , I always see it and admire it , but suddenly today as she was talking to me it turned RED!!!
'Mum your microchip is red' I said
'No way , look again' my mum said
'Mum it's red' I said
'I think it got activated , calm down' my mum said
'Mum , no , when it gets activated , it turns green not red!!' I said
' that day came Jess , that day came , it came so fast , it came so early , this shouldn't happen now' my mum said while stuttering.
' Jess I won't live that long , it's my last minutes , I am old , the virus will shut my body off  , that's what your dad was scared off , the code is 1590905' my mum said and closed her eyes.
' mum wake up , wake up , wake up' , I said as I fell on then floor and started crying

then I heard someone knocking on the door , i opened the door and suddenly this man leant into me. There is a dark red almost black color to the whites of his eyes. And his microchip is red too!!! He went so close that his nose is almost touching my nose. I felt his breath as he said, "We all have it in here. We are all infected'.
