They came flying out of the box in a swarm of evil. As they flew around Pandora's head they whispered promises of death, disease, pain. Each word was like a sharp wasp's sting. Poverty, hate, suffering-again and again the evils stung her, sending a stabbing pain shuddering through the girl's body with each word. Jelousy, anger, greed. More and more evils poured from the box. Pandora slammed the lid shut, but it was too late. Evil had already been released into the world.
