After the whole "Entity" ordeal, Virgil was a lot more panicked than usual. He was cautious and a bit more jumpy than usual. The others were starting to take notice.

Virgil was sat on the couch, listening to some of his PG-13 music. He was tired, he hadn't gotten a full night's rest due to Thomas having a brainstorming session. It only called for Roman, but Thomas requested Virgil's presence for critique, so he halfheartedly acquiesced.

He was listening to one of Panic! At the Disco's new songs. He was in love with the new album already, and found himself feeling calm at the new vibe it had.

Virgil felt someone tap him on the shoulder, and jolted. He slipped his headphones off on his shoulders and peered over. He found Roman looking down at him.

"Sorry if I scared you." He said with a chuckle. Virgil only smiled. "You look tired, kitten." Roman said. "Are you alright?" "Yeah, I'm fine." Virgil mumbled.

"Don't lie to me." Roman said sternly, almost scaring the younger trait. "I-I'm not..." Virgil lied, looking off into a corner. "You most certainly are." Roman said, cupping Virgil's face and turning it back to face him.

"Are you alright?" Roman asked softly. Virgil stayed quiet for a minute, internally conflicted. He didn't want to tell him, but at the same time, he felt obligated to.

Virgil let out a sigh, sweeping his glance back over to Roman. "I-I..." Virgil started, trying to put his thoughts into words. Roman sat down next to his boyfriend. "I'm just scared." Virgil let out, barely above a whisper.

"Scared of what?" Roman asked softly. "O-Of the Entity..." Virgil mumbled, gripping tightly to his boyfriend.

Roman smiled sympathetically at him. "Virgil, it's okay to be scared of it." Roman paused, cupping Virgil's cheek. "Look at me, dear." Virgil felt tears brewing in his eyes. He was so terrified of that thing, he didn't want it come back, but judging by his luck, it would.

Logan paced back and forth in the memory. He mumbled to himself, slowly getting louder. "Ah, you talkin' to yourself, Lo?" Patton said, peeking in through the doorway.

"Yes, it's the only way to have an intellectual conversation around here." Logan said, barely looking at Patton when he said it.

Patton choked back a chuckle, even though it was probably supposed to be the opposite of funny. "What's got ya all worked up, Logy?" Patton asked, leaning against the frame.

"It's that Entity, it's terrifying Virgil." Logan said, stopping for a moment before going back to pacing. "I know, I tried to get him to--" Patton was cut off. "I need you two in the Commons. Now." Roman's voice was harsh and cold, far from the Prince's usual tone.

The two froze, but obeyed. They followed Roman into the Common room, where they saw a small, glowing light.

Roman summoned his sword as he defensively shielded the other two. "W-What is that?" Patton asked. "I'm not exactly sure." Roman said, glancing over his shoulder for a minute. "Where's Virgil?" Logan asked.

"He went to his room, and I suggest you two do the same." Roman said, drawing his sword closer to him.

"He's probably panicking, I'll go help him." Logan said. "W-Wait for me!" Patton said, trailing behind him.

Roman clutched his sword, prepared for anything. The light slowly got brighter and brighter and brighter until Roman had to shut his eyes. He held his sword in front of him, looking away from the bright light.

He swung his sword carelessly around. He didn't want to admit it, but this was starting to scare him. He peaked one eye open, finding the light had dissipated, and that there was...smoke? He swung his sword around again.

"H-Hey, I'm not g-gonna hurt you!"

Roman's eyes shot open. Was that one of the sides? Or Thomas?

Roman looked at the source of the voice, where there was still smoke, and a barely visible figure.

Virgil was encased in a hug from Logan and Patton. "I don't know what it was, but I assure you, it's not harmful." Logan said, gently rubbing his hand up his back. "But what if it is?" Virgil said, feeling tears brew in his eyes once more. There was a knock at the door.

"Come in." Patton said. Roman slowly opened the door rushing to Virgil's side. "Hey, kitten, it's okay," He said, taking Virgil in his arms. Virgil bit back tears as he clutched Roman tightly.

"Did you find out what it was?" Logan asked. "I did. And it isn't dangerous." Roman said calmly. He gently lifted Virgil's face and pressed a kiss to his cheek. Patton let out a soft "awww" and leaned on Logan.

"What exactly was it?" Patton asked. "Well...it's better if you see in person." Roman stood himself up while the others did the same. They walked out of Virgil's room, Virgil standing behind Roman the entire time.

"Meet Liv." Roman said, gesturing out his hand. Virgil peeked around Roman's shoulder. "He's...the Entity." Roman said with a soft sigh.

Virgil felt panic spread throughout his entire body. "That's...the Entity?" Virgil asked, barely above a whisper. "He's harmless, don't worry." Roman said, wrapping his arm around Virgil.

They introduced themselves, Virgil last, obviously. He felt extremely nervous. That was the thing he saw, the thing he was sure would cause trouble.

But, Roman said he was trustful, and he didn't have a right to argue.

"So...Liv's the name, huh?" Patton asked, feeling comfortable with them already. Patton knew this one wasn't like the others, that's not how they were programmed.

"Yep." Liv mumbled. "Don't be shy!" Roman exclaimed. "You've nothing to fear." Virgil sat on the couch with the other four, and Roman and Liv initiated a conversation.

Virgil felt his stomach churn and leap. He shot Logan a worried look, earning a sympathetic smile from the trait.

Virgil sighed as he twiddled his thumbs. It would be the littlest distraction, but a distraction nonetheless.

He glanced over at Roman, who showed no fear or worry on his face. The man he loved was truly fearless, and would face any and every challenge with courage, unlike him.

Virgil sighed once again. He leaned back against the couch as horrendous thoughts and scenarios invaded his mind.
