Chapter 28 ~ Welcome To America

Demi's POV

I was in Scotland for a while just to relax and get away from work for a while. I had been messaging my old friend Hunter and he said that he had 2 special girls he wanted me to meet and record a song with the one called Hayley. He told me about everything, how they all met when he .. Interrupted them in the hallway, what had happened to Luce and Hayley plus how talented they both were and why they were going to America. I feel really connected with the Lucy girl already because I know what it's like to feel like that and how numb you can get when your really upset. I have said that I'll visit her in rehab and I'll do a song with Hayley and help her find her feet in the music industry. I honestly can't wait to meet them both but I'm more buzzed to see Hunter again I've missed him so much.

Today I was flying back to America but I still have another 7 months off the job so I guess I'll hang with Hayley, Hunter and Luce. I boarded the plane and sat at the back. Some people were starting to notice me so I put on my red beanie and closed my eyes to sleep.

After 2 hours I woke up and began shuffling through the music in my phone. I put in my earphones and settled for some ACDC. I was lying back listening to my music when we hit some pretty bad turbulence causing someone to fall onto my lap.

He began apologising but I instantly cut him off when I noticed it was Hunter. I was so happy and we began talking about why we were here. The minute he mentioned that Lucy and Hayley were here I started bouncing about in my seat like a 5 year old. Someone called his name and he instantly told me it was Hayley. He stood up and directed her over to me.

"Oh my Demetria" she said obviously in shock.

I laughed and she started blushing like crazy

"Sorry .. I-I uh it's just. I need to get Luce" she said standing back up

"No no no no" Hunter said standing up "I'll get her you stay here with Demi..start talking so you are more comparable when it comes to recording a song" he winked at Hayley and she had a look of complete shock and disbelief in her face.

When she sat back down she turned to look at me

"Hi umm sorry it's just I'm a huge fan but no where near as big as Luce so I'm gonna warn you that she might pass out" she said laughing "I'm Hayley Brooks" she said standing her hand for me to shake but I refused and pulled her I to a hug instead. I'm a hugger

We spend the next 10 minutes getting to know each other. Everything she said looped back to Lucy somehow. I can tell she really loves her and that's from just spending ten minutes alone with her. We were I interrupted by Hunter

"Hey Luce is on her way but I want you to pretend your sleeping and look out the window so she doesn't know it's you" he said to me

I gave him a confused look and he continued

"Just do it and when you hear the words 'really don't care' I want you to burst out singing. It's her favourite song"

I said okay and turned around pretending to be asleep but listening really carefully. I could hear footsteps approaching.....

Lucy's POV

I was woke up by Hunter telling me that Hayley was stuck in the toilet and that she needed me to help her

"Why can't you help her?" I moaned still half asleep

"C'mon she needs you" he said and walked away

After five minutes I got up and followed the way he went but noticed he wasn't outside the toilet cubical and it was open. I could see Hayley's blue hair from beneath the seats and walked towards it.
