Their drunken laughter echoed throughout the house, their slurred words mixing together as they struggled to speak without laughing. The doctors had gotten together, and ended up drunk. Henrik's eyes met Edwards, their faces a bright pink from their drunken state. After a few more slurred words, longing gazes, Edward was quick to lean over, his chapped lips connecting with Henrik's; unable to form words to show how much they truly did love each other. Henrik's hands went straight to Edward's hair, tangling his fingers into the brown strands, pulling and digging his fingers into his scalp occasionally. Edward let out a soft groan, his hands resting on the german mans sides. Henrik hummed in pleasure, wrapping his legs around Edward's waist, pulling away from the kiss. "I love you." He slurred out, his bright blue eyes meeting Edwards umber eyes, "I love you too." Edward breathlessly responded.

They woke up, their limbs tangled together, bruises lining their necks from the previous night; luckily their clothing was still on, they must have only gotten so far before passing out. Edward looked at Henrik, studying his face. "You have the most breathtaking eyes." He murmured out, watching the faint blush spread across the man's cheeks and the bridge of his nose. "Oh, please, you zease." Henrik replied, his lips curling up into a cheeky smile. "Besides, you clearly have zee breathzaking eyes here." Edward smiled, he pressed a gentle kiss to Henrik's chapped lips, content with the moment; peaceful, alone with this beautiful man.

With passing months, slowly turning to a year, the two doctors fell in love, eventually they ended up becoming a pair, completely enamored with each other. But ah, love doesn't always go so well, does it? One day, as Henrik did emergency surgery on his dear friend Jack, he went missing, never to be seen again, and Jack went into a coma. Edward had lost something that kept him going, the only thing that completed him, the only thing that made him feel human. God, why'd they have to take Henrik?

And the poor German doctor, gone for years with his demonic master.
