Chapter 2:
(April's POV)
Today's Saturday and I'm headed over to Nash's house. My mom is going out of town and I don't have anywhere else to stay so Mrs. Grier volunteered. Yay. I'm babysitting Skylynn and I'm really excited except for the fact that Nash is going on a date with McKenzie.
I get to Nash's house and Hayes answers the door. "Hey April!" He says. "Hey Hayes" I reply. I hug him and we do our silly handshake we made one day while we were watching Nash's lacrosse game, Hayes is like my little bro. We play pranks on each other and fight sometimes but he's the best "little brother" I could ever want. Then Nash walks downstairs, passes me, then walks into the kitchen without saying a word. Then I over hear him talking to his mom. "McKenzie is sick! Now we can't go out!" He says sounding a bit annoyed. "Well then I guess your staying here and helping April babysit." Mrs Grier replies. I love how she is always so calm. She never gets upset. Just then my eavesdropping is interrupted by Sky coming downstairs, " Hi April!!" She says! "Hey Sky!" I respond. "Can we do makeovers tonight? I really want you to do the princess crown on my nails again!" Sky asks. "Sure cutie!" I say answering her question.
Then Nash walked into the living room, "I guess I'm stuck here tonight, Mckenzie's sick". "Well then I guess your getting a makeover!" I say looking at Sky. We both burst out laughing and Nash seems a bit annoyed.
