The car pulled into the drive way. A familiar figure stood there, waiting. A huge smile spread aross her face as she sees the car pull in. My cousin Emma, although she was more like a best friend to me.
"OLIVIA!!" she screams as I get out of the car.
"Call me Liv! How many times do I have to tell you that?" I say as I embrace her in a hug.
"Sorry.." she mumbled, "I'm so glad you're finally here!" She exclaims.
You see I flew from Melbourne to Sydney because my mum is doing charity work over in Africa, and my dad, well god knows where he is.. I was going to be living with Emma and her parents until I finished my schooling.
"Oh, Olivia, darling look how much you've grown!" my aunt says.
"Thank you Aunt Lisa, it's so good to see you!" I exclaim.
"Oh darling the pleasure is ours!" She replies.
I grab my bags and follow them inside. I walk up the familiar stair case and into the spare room.
"So I'll let you unpack, uhh I'm right across the hall if you need me" Emma says before leaving my 'new' room.
I unpack my belongings and have a shower, relieveing my stress from moving. After I got changed ther was a knock at the door, "Olivia darling, dinners ready" my Aunt Lisa says through the door.
"I'll be down in a minute" I reply, I quickly run a brush through my hair and chuck it up in a messy bun before hopping down the stairs.
"So are you excited for tomorrow?" My Uncle Peter asked me. Tomorrow, AKA, Monday, AKA, School, AKA , My first day.
"Yeh sureee.." I respond
"Don't worry Liv you have me!" Emma says, "You'll be fine!"
After dinner, I went upstairs and decided I'd make a Facebook account, new school new start right? I opened up my MacBook and made myself a Facebook, I added Emma and my mum then logged out.
I chucked on my pyjamas and hopped into bed. First day of anew school tomorrow.. Yay my only friend is going to be my cousin. Great...
