At that moment, he seemed to be satan himself. The once lovable face suddenly looked devilish as he handed down the terrible thing to me. My heart was beating faster than ever as with trembling fingers, I took it from his hand. Even in that pleasant weather, I was perspiring, unable to hold back the immense anxiety within my heart. I felt my throat had gone dry, I needed water, craved death.
It was disastrous. As I laid my eyes on it, it looked evil, evil ascended from the darkest nooks of hell to drag me down with it. Slowly but surely, it started to take over me. The more I tried to overcome it, the more I realised how utterly hopeless my situation was. I was resisting the irresistible, trying to remain optimistic in the process, but failing there as well.
I started to feel a bit dizzy as dark and ancient knowledge swept across my mind like a storm of bats through the tranquility of a dark, empty night. Each moment seemed like an eternity but for some reason, I wanted more time. As time flew by, I started to quietly accept my fate. All my worries were suddenly gone, sweated off of my forehead and I sat there, a blissful being. I had given up, given myself up to that irresistible force. For a long time, I sat there, ignoring my friends' pleas for help. I knew I couldn't help. No one could. We were beyond help.
However, I knew the suffering was not going to last much longer. So I waited, waited patiently for it to conclude. Then suddenly, I heard it, the sweetest sound in all of creation, the sound which was to deliver me from all my sufferings. "Stop writing", he said. The exam was over.
