After getting dressed, I got out my flat iron and straightened my hair.

Soon finishing my hair, I decided to just put on some red matte lipstick and be done with it..

Jack had also just finished getting ready. Usually, he would've been done long before me, but I hadn't really cared to do much with my appearance tonight.

... To be completely honest here, I didn't even want to go to this party..

I just wanted to stay home, watch Netflix, and cuddle with Jack..

Each day that we spent together or even apart brought us closer and closer to him leaving...

It broke my heart just thinking that, in two months, him and the boys would be off in Los Angeles singing, livinv it up... Forgetting about me....

That was what I feared most of Jack leaving.. Him forgetting about me, or even finding someone better and not wanting me anymore....

I sighed as I tried to push all these thoughts out of my head..

C'mon, Samantha..., I told myself. Lighten up a bit, would ya?

"Are you ready to go?" Jack asks me, a small smile on his face.

Jack's POV

She nods as I take her hand and we walk out the front door, me locking it before we start our walk to the party.

I knew that Sam didn't really wanna go to this party, but I thought it best to go anyway..

As the days went by, Samantha seemed more and more depressed and upset, and I knew that it was because it was just getting closer and closer to me leaving.

I was hoping that, just maybe, this party might be able to lift her spirits a little..

But, even as she got ready to leave, I could see how much she was dreading it all..

Even when Samantha got ready for school, she'd have her makeup done, the hottest outfit picked out from the night before so she'd be ready, and a plan for her hair also planned out from the night before.

I mean, not saying that Sam didn't look hot tonight, 'cause she always did.. But, she barely even tried tonight..

Okay, wrong choice of words again.. Sam never really tries, she just likes looking good, and she always does. But, when I tell you that she pulled the first things she saw out of her drawers, I mean it...

She was just lucky tha it all actually went together, I guess...

Soon, Samantha and I were walking into the the large house as it blasted music.

Sam clung to my arm as we walked to go and find the other boys.

They had all been standing around the staircase, talking.

Sam and I sit down on one of the steps.

"What're you guys talking about?" I ask, putting my arm around Sam.

"Nothing much.." Zach answers.

"Well, did we miss anything?"

"Nope.." Corbyn answered.

Samantha's POV

Just as I had thought, this was completely boring.

I sigh, heavily, as I stand up.

"I need a drink...." I sighd again, standing up and walking myself to the kitchen.
