Chapter 1

Blair P.O.V.

I was woke by my mom shacking my arm. '"Blair honey, we are here. I'm going to need your help getting the kids in the house. its late so we should put them to bed." "alright mom I'm on it." I get out of the car that I have been in for the last 5 hours. we just moved from my home town. To a place I have never been  I stretched my achy body to try to wake it up I then opened the back door to seed Scott's short black hair sticking up everywhere from the sleep he has had in the car I shook Scotts arm lightly. he opened one of his deep green eye and glared at me. I giggle at his grumpy face. " Scott were here. I have to get you into the house and to bed. I need you to walk in the house so I can carry nick in. after I wake Emaline up will u walk her in for me. mom is getting a bed ready for you guys, ask her where she wants Emaline to sleep." "OK sis I will" Scott is always so helpful as much as a 10 year old can be but he tries a lot. I don't' know what I would do with out his help most of the time. he can be a hand full though that is for sure. but I wouldn't trade him for anything. I wouldn't trade any of my family. Scott gets out of the car and I walk around to wake Emaline up she is sprawled out in the back seat her arms rest in her lap but her legs are over the middle console to the front seats she has a little bit of drool running down her bottom lip to her chin her long curly black hair is sprawled out over the back of the back seats and it's looking kind of unruly I giggle a little bit. Emaline Whines when I tap her leg to wake her up. "Blair what do you want I was having a really good dream about swimming at the pool. it was amazing" she says in her cute little 8 year old voice. I giggle at her. " we are at the new house baby girl. Scott is going to take you into the house. mom is making you all beds to sleep in. its late so I want you to go straight to bed. OK?" "OK sissy love you" this little girl melts my heart especially when she looked at me with those beautiful green eyes. "I love you too baby girl. good night. I will come in and sing to you and nick once I get you all in and help mom get things set up for tomorrow morning." she hops out of the car and hugs me. "OK." I make sure she gets to Scott then turn to get nick up to see that he is already out of his seat and climbing over to me. His hair is also sticking up everywhere looks like a little black barbed wire his deep green eyes shine almost like headlights in the dark "well I see you are up. come on big boy lets get you in the house and to bed" "OK bear. I'm still sleepy" he cant say Blair yet so he calls me bear. he holds his hands up for me to pick him up and carry him inside.

when I turn to walk inside I finely get a good look at the house my mom had found at last min. its not the best but it is a 4 bedroom house. and its cheap. the front porch was once a dark wood but has had some ware on it so now its a brownish grey, the screen door has holes in it and the front door is a weird yellow color. the house is 2 story's. its white in color and don't look like its going to fall in. but it did look old. it was surrounded by trees. the forest is beautiful. I love it in the woods. when I walked up the 5 front steps to the front door every one of them creek's under my feet. I finely got nick in the house and found mom in the boys room. she had gotten the mattresses in and set up. Her curly black hair as always was perfectly where it should be looking great as if she had just gotten it done we would put the bed frames up tomorrow as well as getting most of our stuff put together and unpacked. I put nick in his bed and kissed his forehead. he was already asleep. mom and I walked out of the room. I told her I would get the kids lunch ready for their first day of school tomorrow. she had to start work tomorrow and i didn't want her to be tired for her first day. I went to check on Emaline, it was her first night sleeping on her own in her own room. she was sitting on her bed looking out the window. "what ya looking at baby girl?" "the woods. I think I seen something move in the tree line. I wanted to see what it was. I hope we have a family of deer living close." Emaline loves animals. I bend down and kiss her head. "time to go to sleep baby girl. you have your first day of school tomorrow." "OK can you sing to me please?" " of course." I sing her 'your my sun shine' I have sang to all three of them since they were really little it seems to help them fall asleep she falls asleep by the end of the second time I sang it to her. I walked out of the room as quietly as possible looking behind me multiple times to make sure she was really asleep I didn't close the door as softly as humanly possible I then walk back down the stairs to the kitchen and find Scott in there looking around. "what ya doing. you should be in bed. you have school tomorrow." "I am Hungry. I cant find any food." "the only food we have is for you 3 lunch tomorrow. but I have a small bag of chips in the car if you want them I can go get them and bring them to you in your bed. but you have to promise me you will go to sleep right after you are done eating them." "OK sis I promise. thank you I love you." "love you too baby." I watched as he runs back up the stairs excited because he gets my chips I giggle a little bit
