And I also remembered her saying a month before she passed away. She once told me, " Mommy, I want my coffin to be violet, flowers, ribbons and even the dress I will wear in my wake." I brushed it off and joked about it with her saying I should go first not her. And I was also surprised that she also told her bestfriend about it.
Was she ready for death? Did she felt her tume was near? Was she really sick and hid it from me?
She never wanted to burden me specially when it was money matters. She was very considerate but a bit selfish in the end for she thought it was wise to keep it all to herself. But I know she has her reasons....
We tried our best to make everything in the shade of violet. We even changed her dress from white to violet. And her coffin was showered with purple hearts with dedications from friends and family. Violet balloons amd violet ribbons on each friends and family.
