Current's Cavern

Current used to like the waters,
They said it reminded them of sea.
But truth be told-
Their love didn't hold;
And they were cast out to me.

Current was always in the waters;
Said their name was part of the sea.
Well all luck dried,
And their heart died,
To forget their love- to leave.

Current wished to be back in the waters-
To find their luck again in love.
But their Guard Bond died-
The ocean all dried
O' tears that they could not hold.

Current was laying in the waters
In a cave far below.
With two moon's shine;
Their heart intertwined,
To find their way back to home.

To fight 'n swim against the Current
Will only ever exhaust you.
And when embraced-
With humility, no disgrace;
Maybe I'd find love in you too.

"C'mon little Current, let's go play"
To be assured to their say;
"When the evening comes
'Ith our war's won
I don't have that long to stay."

When the day turns night,  and all is bright,
Current clutching a broken shell, and say;
"When the evening comes
'Ith our war's won
I don't wish that long to stay."

"Shatter the eggs, shatter the pieces!
Find the place of sea's foam,
But our journey's done;
With no war won!
And with that, the sea's no longer my home."

The saga of their tale continues,
As they're the only water t' me.
But they'll wash ashore
Their heart still half gored
Their love will return, indeed.

Their love has returned, indeed.

A little poem for my little friend. May my friend's Grandmother rest in peace.
