Just Another Book

Love

How important is it to fall in love?
All my life
All the movies
And books
Feed the idea
That love can fix us
So I waited for that love.
It's not that I wasn't loved enough
My mamma loves me
My papa loves me
My friends love me
And I love them too
But still
Why do I crave for more?
Isn't this much love enough?
To get by
I want to love
And be loved in a way
That can be written about
But alas
I waited
No one woke me up from the dead with a kiss
I swiped right on random people
But that didn't work out either.
Can I fix myself without waiting for this love?
