First day of July...Damn, this month is so difficult: The heat starts burning our skin and we have the second semester's finals...BUT! Today is Anthony's bday. I have everything planned. Anyway, It's 21.00 and everything is ready to my house. His friends and the girls are here. The only thing that's missing is him...
"Come on, Alexa, he'll come any minute..." Stella says to me as I look outside the window, holding a beer
"I know, I'm just so anxious...I wanna make sure he won't know what hit him!"
"He won't...u were very careful this week, u didn't give him any hint,so chill!"
"Yeah...but what if he has plans for tonight himself?"
"Did he tell u anything?" Emma asks
"No...but u never know with this man!"
"He would have told u...He might not even want something fancy, he could just want to stay in..." Kate says and in the thought of it,I panic
"Why did u tell her that??" Stella scolds her
"God! I didn't thought about that...I should have asked him!" I say nervous
"No! U're throwing him a surprise party! I'm sure he will appreciate it! Also,I don't think he is from those people that want their bday to be quiet..." Emma explains trying to calm me
"That's true, he loves parties and going out for drinks...ugh! I can't do anything now...I guess we'll see!"
"Yeah, very soon,because he just found a spot outside the house..." Kate mentions and I turn all the lights off, trying to instruct everyone about hiding. A couple of minutes later, we hear the keys on the door. He pushes the door open and switches the lights on, that are right beside the door opening. When the lights are on,we all pop up and shout Happy Birthday, scaring him. He puts his hand on his chest, letting out a breath. I go close to him smiling and hug him tight
"Happy bday,my king!!" I say
"Thank u,your honor!!" He replies still socked, as he puts down his suitcase and then he hugs me. When we pull away, we kiss. I step away after the kiss and the other people come to wish him HB,too...

Half an hour later, I'm talking with the girls as we drink our beers,with music playing in the back. I feel an arm wrapping around my waist from behind me and then a kiss lands on my cheek
"Oh! U remembered u have a girlfriend here,huh?" I say sarcastically
"I always remember that,baby...that's why I'm here!" He replies smiling making me smile too
"That was smooth!" Rafa comments and we laugh
"Did u like the surprise?" Emma asks
"Duh! Of course he did!" Kate comments
"Let him talk..." Stella scolds her
"Of course I did! I wasn't really expecting it...I was sure u were gonna do something about my bday,but I wouldn't have guessed that...thank u!" He answers looking at me and we kiss
"We helped!" Kate says
"Thank u too, girls!!" He replies laughing a little
"Well,we'll leave u alone..." Emma says and they go away
"U look beautiful!" he compliments me and I smile
