Chapter 1 It Started With a Bang!... Well More Like a Bump.

***Bell Ringing***

"Okay class I'll see you tomorrow. Be sure you do the homework it is due at the beginning of class!" Mr. Calvin yelled over the piercing bell. Though most students were out of the class so they could use the excuse tomorrow, "Well I didn't hear you."

Hear no words, do no work, is the school motto.

Elvira Moyer, however, was not one of these students she preferred the motto, Hear the words, just don't give a fu-..

"Elvira, you better hurry along or you'll be late to your next class."

Snapped from her thoughts Elvira grabbed her book in a hurry and rushed out the door, "Sorry Mr. Calvin I just spaced out."

"Yes I noticed you do that a lot especially during my lectures," he responded looking down at his papers.

Stopping Elvira looked at her teacher and merely gave a slight bow of the head and a "have a good day sir" before exiting the class. He was right however she did not like the feeling of having her short attention span thrown in her face... well maybe it wasn't short attention span more laziness.

The point is still valid. Right?

Whatever.

Throwing her English books in her locker Elvira grabbed her Biology binder and began to head up the stairs to her next class. Biology was by far her least favorite, all science really was. She hated subjects that had rules but always had that ONE exception that threw everything off.

And to her that is all science was. One big "here is the rule for all this EXCEPT THIS ONE!'

With a huff she took her seat and began on the bell ringer...

Elvira immediately sighed and dropped her head on her desk.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

That's her other motto in life.

Life. Oh yeah that sucked. Ironically though, not because of school, so much as everything else. Not that school didn't suck for Elvira, however it was the least of her troubles.

She didn't really have any friends, just acquaintances she talks to here in there, not since Haley has Elvira been close to anyone.

Haley... is Elvira's best friend, even now.

Neither was she close to her parents. Oh was that a whole story her parents like to remind her of every chance they can.

They were busy people who just wanted to have a little fun here and there, when they could afford it that is. However, Elvira JUST HAD TO RUIN IT. After about two months of "fun" her mother found out she was pregnant.

At first the couple was going to get rid of the soon to be child. However, being that both were of the upper class is was VERY frowned upon and down right forbidden by their families.

"We would have never been allowed to show our faces again at any of the country clubs."

So because of the unexpected "problem" the couple married young and had a child.

Elvira loved that story. Her parents use to tell it to her as a bed time story, "I'm My Parents Biggest Regret" she began to call it.
