We're all familiar with the phrase "Potato, Potato- Tomato, Tomato", but I'm here to tell you it does not apply to everything. I repeat- it DOES NOT apply to EVERYTHING. Some words and names only have one pronunciation. Everything can't be thrown in the same box. Sometimes you're wrong lol. Just graciously admit it and move on XD.
An example: people who confuse alligators from crocodiles. Whenever I mention there's a difference they try to hit me with a variation of the above phrase. No! There's a clear difference!
So, my friends, "Potato, potato" only applies when appropriate- like pecan or sakura. Remember that.
