Cohesion ( Newt X reader )

Chapter 1

We stopped where newt and his friends are. we opened it carefully. thomas looked at us, "C'mon follow us." aris said, "what?" thomas said just as confused as me. we followed aris but still didn't know where we're going, "hurry this way." aris said. there were so many ways to get lost. kinda like the maze, "wait a second. what the hell are you doing?." thomas replied, "c'mon we're gonna miss it!." aris said moving faster. me and thomas sighed, "what our we doing?" he said annoyed, "i wish i knew." I said. as we were about to turn we saw aris looking at something, "what's going on?" I said. aris told us to come over. we crawled over to aris looking down at a hallway, "watch." aris said.
we saw a lady looking around making sure nobody was there. she started walking and someone was pushing this thing that I'm sure had a body in it. the lady unlocked the door and walked inside, "what the hell was that?" thomas questioned, "they bring new ones like clockwork." aris said.

"you know what they do with them?" I asked scared, "i don't know. this is as far as I've ever gotten. the vents don't even go in that situation. once they go threw that door. they don't come back out. I really don't think everybody leaves this place." aris said. i knew something was up, "c'mon we've gotta go before someone notices we're gone." aris said crawling back, "why'd you show us this?" thomas said. aris stopped and looked at us, "because maybe the others will listen to you both. there's something weird going on here. and I know you think so too." he said. we crawled back to our rooms and try to go back too sleep after what we just saw.

I got up did my daily routine.
After what happened last night i just can't imagine what there's doing to these people. I tried to but it in the back of my head and got something to eat. I was going to go sit where I normally sit but newt called me over. i told aris if he wanted to but he said no. I sat next to newt. on my right with his other friend i believe his name is frypan or they call him fry. newt looked in my eyes and he could even tell I didn't get much sleep last night,
"Love, did you even get a little bit of sleep? I know it's hard to get used to but you really need it." he said sweetly, "I'll try tonight. Thanks for caring newt." I smiled. janson walking in. calling out someone's name who gets to leave, "No one goes through that door." thomas said focusing on janson, "Tommy we've been over this. you say they were covered up so  you don't know what you saw. It could have been anything." Newt said, "Aris. Y/N and me saw human bodies. Aris said they bring in a new Bach of them every night." Thomas said,

"Who the hell is aris?" Minho asked, "My friend over there." I said. they looked at aris then back at thomas, "Cool." one of there friends said, "I'm sold." Minho said. "Thank you for your attention. Enjoy the rest of your evening." janson said leaving. the guard unlocked the door, "Look let's just keep our heads down and try not to draw any attention too ourselves alright." newt asked thomas. thomas slammed his hand on the table and walked over to the door, "What is he doing?" Newt said, "i think he's drawing attention to himself." Fry said, "Ugh not again." I said annoyed. I think thomas is trying to blind in with the other kids who go through the door but the gurad stopped him, "whoa you're weren't called." The guard said, "I'll only be a second." thomas said trying to walk but the gurad stopped him again. "This is a restricted area kid." He said,

"I just wanna see my friend can you let me though?" Thomas asked nicely, "Get you're ass back in that chair." The guard said harshly. Thomas started walking back to us but then tried to run past the guard but failed, "HEY! Back off!" The guard yelled. We jumped out of our seats and ran to thomas, "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM MAN? WHAT THE HELL UH? WHY WON'T YOU LET ME SEE HER!?" Thomas screamed at the guard. We held him back as much as we could, janson walked in, "What's happening here?" janson said, "Thomas I thought we could trust each other. You know we are all on the same team here." janson said trying to calm him down. Newt pulled me close so I wouldn't get caught in the fight. "... Alright." Thomas said almost out of breath. "Get them too there bunks and take her with them." Janson requested. They grabbed my arm where janson cut me and dragged us to the room. I screamed in pain as I could feel the guards fingers push down on my arm.

The opened the door and threw us in and lucked the door back. I laid on the ground crying in pain. newt keeled down next to me, "Y/N I need you to breath alright love." He said calmly. I did as told. there was a little bit of blood coming out of my arm because it wasn't long when janson cut me so it didn't really heal, "What the hell was that about?" Minho asked frustrated, "You really didn't just think they were just gonna let you through." Newt said holding my arm to stop the bleeding, "no, of course I didn't." He said pulling out the key card, "We're gonna find out what's on the other side of that door." Thomas said. It was a really risky thing to do, "Okay." Newt said not really wanting to go through with thomas's plan, "Newt. They're hiding something. Okay theses people aren't what they say they are." Thomas adds, "No thomas you don't know that! The only thing we know is that they help rescue us from WCKD. They gave us new clothes. They gave us food. They gave us a proper bed, some of us haven't had that in a long time." Newt replied still helping me,

"Yeah but he's-" Thomas tried to finish but newt cut him off, "Some of us a lot longer than others." Newt said giving him a every aggressive look. I was gonna say something but a sound from under the bed scared me that I pushed myself into newt, "Here let me help you up." Newt said grabbing my waist and pulling me up gently. I thanked newt and saw that it was aris under the bed, "Hey Y/N. hey thomas." Aris greeted, "Who is this guy?" Minho said, "You got the card?" Aris asked thomas. He nodded and got down on the ground, "Okay maybe you guys are right. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I gotta find out for sure, just cover for me. We'll be back as soon as we can." Thomas said going. I was about to follow him but newt stop me. "No way are you going. You're hurt and anything could happen out there so let's just wait and cover for them." Newt said looking into my e/c eyes, i sat down to him.
He introduced me to everyone as we waited for thomas and aris. I just hope we find what we're looking for.
