Chapter 13: The Turning Point

Manik looks for her in hallway but she was nowhere to be seen. After a long search, he saw her going towards Aryaman's room. He runs and holds her, covers her mouth n drags her to the dining hall of the resort

"Manik y did u stop me... I wanted to talk to Aryaman" Nandini shouts

"He's a man Nandini, what if he had... What if he touched you" Manik said

"Ohhh so u r jealous! Manik I went to Aryaman so that I could call off the wedding" Nandini said

"Y r u so naive Nandini! You think u go to him, tell him that u don't want to marry him n he will very easily let u go" Manik said

"Yess" Nandini said innocently n Manik nodded his head in disbelief

"Listen let me handle this, but are u sure u don't wanna marry him?" Manik says

"Actually I never wanted to marry him. I always knew that he flirted with girls bcoz I never allowed him to get physical with me but I wasn't bothered by that. Now I understand why. Bcoz I never loved him! I was never passionate or possessive about him on the contrary when I see u with Alya, my best friend who's like my sister, I get sooooooo jealous. U know why? Bcoz , I... I forgot...what was I saying" Nandini said

"Nothing, just casual drunk blabber , now drink this nimbu pani " Manik said

Nandini grips his sherwani n says "do u still love me" Manik looks deeply in her eyes "more than any person has loved anybody" n she smiles "will u abandon me ever" Nandini said "never" Manik said . "good" Nandini smiles n kisses on his lips n Manik blushes after the kiss

"Now like a good girl drink this" Manik gives the glass n Nandini starts making gross faces n behaves like a child but Manik handles her in a matured way n manages to make her drink it.

"Ab mera reward" Nandini said innocently n Manik blushes n kisses on her forehead but Nandini wasn't happy. She again runs away when Manik was clearing the mess.

Outside Nandini spots Alya n hugs her. "What happened Nandini, R u drunk?"

"I don't know.... Maybe" Nandini says like a child n Manik comes from back. Manik n Alya look at each other

"Nandini r u ok... Did Manik touch u or misbehave with u" Alya said looking at Manik deliberately n Nandini had a perplexed face

"Alya... He's not as bad as u think" Nandini said but Alya ignored her

"Ya u r right bcoz u r worse than him. You knew I loved Manik n still u snatched him away from me" Alya shouts

"But I never" Manik interrupted but Alya didn't stop

"You are the worst best friend anyone can have. I didn't only have a normal childish crush on Manik, I loved him n I even slept with him but you... You just weaseled ur way n didn't even give my love a chance!" Alya said loudly

"Alya I didn't do it intentionally" Nandini said

"No.. But u could have walked away for me. Always u took things which I wanted away from me. The day we met n became friends, u took away my parents from me bcoz on dat same day they died too!" Alya said and Nandini was in tears "I hate you Nandini.... I hate you for everything. N let me tell u one thing, ur parents too wanted u to marry Manik but I thought that u will never agree to this bcoz u were my best friend or rather my sister but u proved me wrong. So I wish you both a very happy married life in advance but never ever show your face to me" Alya said and left. Nandini sat on the ground n started crying

"Nandini pls don't cry" Manik tried to console her

"I ruined my friendship with Alya... I ruined it with my own hands... She hates me now" Nandini said while crying

"Nandini she's upset dats y she said those things to u but soon she'll understand n come back to u" Manik said

"No I ruined my friendship with her, I ruined everything its all my fault" Nandini started mumbling

Manik hugged her n patted her back "everything will be fine n back to normal just give it some time" Manik said

Nandini then broke the hug n looked at Manik. Nandini kissed his lips. She began sucking his upper lip while Manik sucked her lower lip. Gradually the smooch became more passionate n Nandini lied down n Manik on top of her. Nandini started removing his sherwani while Manik removed her dupatta n threw it away. Then he rolled over n Manik was now lying down while Nandini was on top of him. He untied the choli n lowered it a bit, kissing her neck n shoulders. Then again they kissed but manik stopped himself.

"Nandini this isn't right" manik said getting up

"What? U r saying this?" Nandini said

"Nandini, this isn't done! U can't just use me for physical needs! If u love me then accept it n marry me not that jerk" Manik said

"I will marry u Manik" nandini said

"U r drunk dats y u r saying this. Tomorrow u will go to that Aryaman only coz he was ur frst love n u don't break relationships" Manik said angrily . Nandini doesn't reply and simply leaves. Manik too follows her reluctantly.

Nandini then goes to Aryaman's room only to find him banging the same girl with whom he was dancing. They stopped on seeing her and covered their naked bodies with bedsheets. Manik too saw them.

Nandini was too shocked to say anything. "Nandini I was so drunk last night that I don't remember how I landed in bed with her....pls forgive me" aryaman said

"U actually never deserved her. I know about your past history how u used to sleep with other actresses or producers but used Nandini only for her money" Manik said

"Look who's talking! U are a womanizer manik! U sleep with random girls and then don't even wait for the morning to abandon them. And maybe u slept with nandini too I mean at least I saw u kissing her god knows how many times u f***ed her like a b***h" aryaman said n manik punched him hard on the face following a violent fight between the two. Nandini left the room

"Nandini listen to me plss" Aryaman said gripping her arm but nandini freed herself n shouts "Don't! I know about all ur relationships with other girls but I was blinded by this stupid love I had for you. But today u crossed all the limits. One day before the wedding Aryaman.... just One day...n u couldn't control yourself"

"Yes I couldn't control but this is all your fault! You wanted to do everything after marriage but u forget ur rules and chastity and everything for Manik and become his s**t for the night" Aryaman says and nandini slaps him hard

"I did not sleep with him Aryaman! I only kissed him for which I was so guilty! But not anymore. N FYI this marriage is over, thanks to u. Today u finally free me bcoz now I won't be guilty for breaking up with u" nandini says firmly and walks off.
