Chapter 9:Manik feels Love

Nandini was lying down on her bed with a smile on her face remembering her kiss with Manik. She kept tossing on bed and finally called Manik.

On the other hand, Manik was strumming his guitar softly and smiling when he got Nandini's phone. He picked it up with hesitation

"Nandini is everything ok" Manik said

"No its not ok" Nandini replied

"Why wat happened"

"Manik, I don't know. I've never felt so restless in my life" Nandini said

"Nandini calm down. Its nothing trust me. You go to sleep, u will feel fine" Manik said calmly

"No I can't. I tried but whenever I'm closing my eyes, all I can remember is our..." Nandini shied to say it

"Kiss?" Manik completed her sentence and Nandini blushed closing her eyes and Manik smiled

"Can u meet me, now" Nandini said

"Nandini its 12 am" Manik said

"Manik pls. Don't have to come inside my house. I'll meet u outside. Just call me when u reach" Nandini said

"U sure"

"Yes"

"Ok " Manik said n disconnected the call. Nandini starts waiting. Then she feels restless so she starts strolling in her room, fiddling with her phone. After sometime, her phone rings, she sees from her window that Manik's car was in front of her house. She immediately went downstairs and ran but when she saw manik, she slowed down and her heart started beating rapidly. Both were looking into each other's eyes but weren't saying anything

"I'll start" Nandini said "Manik its not like this is my first kiss but this felt different from others, more special" Nandini said emphasizing on special and Manik looked at her "are u also feeling anything like this" Nandini said

"No...its just a kiss Nandini, big deal. Why are u exaggerating this" Manik said and Nandini felt hurt

Meanwhile, Alya was fuming badly remembering their kiss. She was walking to and fro in her room when she stopped at the window n saw Nandini

"Nandini itni raat ko kisse baat kar rahi hai" she said n then she saw Manik's face

"You are right...its just... A kiss! I'm dragging this too much. I should just forget about it and move on, marry Aryaman (Manik looks at her), have kids and be happy with him" Nandini said emotionally

"Yes" Manik said looking down

"Fine thnk u so much for your precious time and knowledge. You can leave now" Nandini said

(Manik and Nandini look at each other with pain and anger respectively)

(Nandini sees him go with pain and anger in her eyes and Manik too is hurt by Nandini's last statement)

(Alya goes inside and breaks down and sits on the floor crying)
