"So you're saying that you want to go back to high school?"

"Yes. I'm a teenager after all. It won't hurt to try and act like one, won't it?"

Sensei sighed in defeat. And by that time, I knew I've already won. "It's not that I'm against it. It's just that you've already gone to high school when you were younger. Don't you think it'll be boring?"

I grinned, glad to know that he doesn't bother reading my mind this time. It was an awful habit of his. I didn't really mind-I knew this man very well. It's just that I thought it wasn't respectful to peek into others' minds. But then I saw him yawn, realizing that he was worn out from the long series of assassinations, so I quickly dropped the expression.

"That's where you're wrong. I wasn't 16 back then, so I'm pretty sure I didn't get the whole 'high school thing' right," I answered, helping him clean the magasins of the guns.

As I set the rest of the magasins in order, I watched him as he took them one at a time and places them inside each gun, clicking it into place.

Suddenly, he asked, "Where's my gun? I thought it was with you."

"Changing the subject now, are we?"

He glared at me teasingly. "I'm serious, Hayuno. Where'd you leave it?"

I sighed, very unwilling to tell him. I did have a habit of hiding his stuff. "The Glock MOS? It's in the hot spring."

He tried to hide a smile but I could notice, so it was no use for him to do so.

"What the hell is that doing there?" he shook his head, chuckling. "Well, I'll go get it, so load the other guns for me, will you?" I didn't answer, so he takes it as a cue for him to walk out and retrieve it.

It took him less than a minute, but I was also done by then. Looks like he even cleaned it on the way, too.

"I have one condition, though," he said. "I'll sign up as a substitute teacher in the school you'll be going to. They won't be able to say no."

"I could deal with that."

This time, he didn't try to hide his smile.

"You can take care of the high school application, right?"

"I've done it many times before, Sensei; I can do it again."

hiii!!! um i started this story a few years back (it's 2019 as i'm typing this) and i kind of want to try continuing this? sksksks

anyway, i'll leave some notes here. skip them if you want, but then you might not understand the story.

》The "Sensei" here is Korosensei from Assassination Classroom, except in human form. Long story short, he is a master assassin-the Reaper-took in Hayuno Kirisaki, the main character in this story, when she was young along with another student. He saw this other apprentice as a mere tool to achieve his goals, but his views on Hayuno were much more different. He turned to Korosensei when he got caught and betrayed by the other apprentice by the government and was turned into a guinea pig, leaving her alone. As Korosensei, his attitude and personality changed significantly. Yuno (the nickname, though Sensei always calls her "Hayuno") discovers about Sensei's whereabouts and current identity and state. Sensei-or Korosensei-ends up being a teacher of the E Class, a class isolated in a different campus in the mountains due to difficulties in academics or improper behavior. This class was tasked to kill Korosensei because the government and Korosensei himself claims that he will destroy the world if they don't. At this, Yuno stayed close wherever they were. When Korosensei was killed by one of the students, Yuno approached them, not bothering to introduce herself since Korosensei told the class about his previous self-mentioning the other apprentice and Yuno. Around a year later after Korosensei's death, Yuno is somehow reunited with Sensei in his original form when she bumps into him in a bar. What she herself is doing in a bar, I do not know lmao

》Yuno was enrolled into many high schools when she was around 10. This was partly for her to learn the lifestyle of different kinds of high school students so that she could blend in and being accelerated (we call younger kids in higher levels in school "accelerated"). Another reason was for her to gain intel on those teachers and staff who are worthy of being a target.
