"I literally can't wait!" Y/b/f squeals

"Same!" Y/c/n squeals along with y/b/f, 

"What about you Y/n?" Y/b/f smiles, they both look at yo

"I think its a load of bull." I roll my eyes

"Why?! What if you find your dream boy there?!" Y/c/n raises a brow

"I don't get why we have to wear masks." I huff

"Its called a School Masquerade Ball for a reason Y/n," Y/b/f Giggles

"WE'RE HERE!" Y/b/f screams, 

"My ears literally nearly bled." I laugh

We get out of the Limo my cousin rented, she was the definition of extra. We put on our masks then head inside, I turn around to look at them but they were gone, of course. 

I walk over to the food and drink. I grab some punch,

"Hey," A tall boy asks, he had black curly hair and his mask was matching his tux which was a dark blue.

"Hello." I smile

"My friends ditched me for the dance floor." He laughs 

"My friends ditched me completely, they always do this." I roll my eyes but crack a laugh

"Your pretty." He blurts out, he realises what he says and tries to cover it up,

"Good! Pretty good, haha." He laughs nervously and scratches his neck

"Are you quoting Mike from Stranger Things?" I raise a brow

"Uhhh... yes?" He says, more of a question

"I think the shows cool, I'm not a huge fan so if I ever saw one of the people I wouldn't die over them." I laugh and put my cup down

He looked happier then before as I said that,

"Want to.. d-dance?" He bites his lip

"Sure!" I smile

he grabs my wrist, as soon as we walk on a slow dance comes on.

"Perfect timing much." I roll my eyes making him giggle,

"Still want to dance?" He smiles

"Of course." I laugh

He grabs my waist and I put my hands on his shoulders.

"How Cliche is this." I giggle

"So Cliche it's killing me, its like we are in a fantasy or something, a book even." He laughs 

"I wonder who you are behind that mask." I smile

"I wonder the exact same thing," He smiles back

I lay my head on his shoulder, the rest of the night we chatted, danced and laughed.

At the end of the night I walked out, my friends went to the bathroom and y/b/f's mum was picking us up. I wait outside and hear someone walking towards me,

The guy from earlier,

"Hey.." I smile

"Hey" He says

He grabs my wrist and pulls me up from the ground, which was where I was sitting. He slowly pulls his mask off,

I pull mine off and we stare at each other, he lent in and so do I, we kissed for awhile until my friends interrupted us,

"FINN WOLFHAWRDRDDDDD!" Y/c/n Screams

"OMG YOU WEER KISSING FINN WOLFHAADSJHBHDODF!!!" Y/b/f screams and does a dance,

"Uh-.. hah.." I laugh nervously,

"AWWW YOUR FIRST KISSSSSSSS" Y/c/n shouts and giggles

"That was your first kiss?" He looks at me,

"Y-yeah..." I nod

"I'm glad it was special then, I'll see you at school." He winks and walks off
