Dan's POV
Today is my first day of University and I'm really scared I don't do good with new things it took me 2 years to get use to the high school that I use to go too I can't even imagine now long it will take me to get use to this place.
"DANIEL YOU ARE READY TO GO" my mum yells from down stairs I had all of my stuff in the car and ready to do I just had to get my phone and coat
"YEAH MUM I'LL BE DOWN IN A MINUTE" I yelled back
I'm growing up, I can't believe I'm starting University it's like yesterday day I just got down with high school.
I walk downstairs and I see my mum crying
"Mum are you okay?" I was a little worried my mum didn't cry in front of me a lot
"Yes I'm just so proud of you Daniel" she said smiling and giving me a hug
I of course hugged her back and smiled back at her. My mum and dad were the only people that were allowed to call me Daniel because they were my parents but no one else could.
"Well lets get going" I said heading to the car, the car ride was 4 hours long and the whole time I slept. I didn't get much sleep last night because I was so nervous about having a roommate.
I have never had to share a room with a stranger and it scared me to think about.
I'm Bi what is the person homophobic, what if the person just doesn't like me, what if.....the person is a serial killer.
Now I'm just over thinking this I'm sure everything will be fine......but what if it's not oh my god I'm over reacting I need to just calm down.
"Daniel we are here" my mum said as she shakes me
"Okay" I said as I sat up in my seat, shit I was tired
As we pulled up I see so many people talking to other people, teachers, people making out. come on it's the first fucking day and people are already making what the fuck is this shit
"Daniel" my mum said "come on help me get this stuff"
"Sorry okay" my mom and dad got my stuff out of the car while I went to see where my room was.
I walked up to this station and it just said room keys
"Hi are you finding your room" this lady said she was probably a teacher
"Yes" i said smiling
"What's your name sweetie" said said smiling. Did she just call me sweetie oh my god
"Daniel Howell"
"Okay here is your key and you are all the way on the other said of campus, room 40B, street piuma" she said smiling handing me the key
"Thank you" I said walking away
As I was walking I was more and more nervous to go to my room on campus
"Hey so the room is all the way on the other side of campus" I said feeling sorry because they unpacked all my stuff for nothing
So we packed the car back up and went to the other side of campus. We soon reach a the street piuma and I was getting more and more nervous at the second.
"We are here what room are you in" my dad asked
"40b" I said with a shaky voice
"Listen Daniel I know you have a hard time with new things but this will be good for you, a new surrounding with new people. You will be fine" my dad said
I know he was right but I was still nervous
"I know dad it's just I'm scared what if my roommate doesn't like me, I will have to live with someone who hates me for 4 years" I said voice still very shaky
"Son you will be fine now let's get this stuff and go to your room" my mum said while getting out of the car
"Okay" I said getting out of the car too
I didn't have much, with all three of us we could get all of it, so we got the stuff and went to find the room.
I was on the very top floor and thank god there was a elevator or I would have had to switch floors to much exercise for me no thank you
As I reach the door I look at my parents and they just had a smile on their face waiting me to open it
"Here we go" I said with hesitation in my voice "shit I might need to unlock the door first" I said laughing i guess my roommate hasn't been here yet
As I open the door the place was pretty big there was a kitchen, living room, 1 bath room and 2 rooms
"Where is your room" my mum said
"Over there it's the one closest to the kitchen" I said
How the the house was set up was when you walk in there is a little hallway and then you walk into the living room the the right on the living room is the kitchen and then if you go back into the living room are the two rooms and the bathroom. The bathroom is in the middle of the two rooms and the bathroom connects both rooms together. My room has no window and my room mates room does. My room was to the right and my roommates was to the left. The living room, kitchen, and the rooms had been furnished for us we just had to buy our own food, bring our bed stuff and that's it
My mum and dad set my stuff down in my room
"We have to go but I promise everything is fine let's us know how your first day went" my dad said
"Okay bye I love you guys" I said walking them to the door.
"We love you too have a good day" my mum said as they walked out
I closed the door behind them, went to my room and started to organise and clean it
About 45 minuets into cleaning my room i hear a knock at the door, I knew it was my roommate so take a couple of breaths and open the door.
