Steve when he protects you from the Demo-dogs. He secretly was in love with you and hesitantly let's you tag along with him and Dustin to hunt the creatures from the Upside Down. For the whole day he had been protecting you, which was his main priority, and when the monsters actually show up, endangering all of you together, Steve shows off, feeling like it is his duty to keep you alive and in safety.
"Stay safe Y/N, I've got this." Steve says, keeping his voice stable as he holds the bat over his shoulder, staring at me.
He seemed to be staying this way for a while, staring at me until he turns himself around and walks towards the mist, where we had left the bait for the demo-dogs, "Stay safe, I need you." I whisper.
