"Air mattresses?"

"Check."

"Movie collection?"

"Check."

"Pillows and blankets?"

"Check."

"Alright, we're done."
Larry says with a small grin, plopping down beside me on the couch.

Earlier Richard called his mom to ask if he could borrow her car. And since Larry wanted to stay behind and get the house ready, I decided to stay with instead of going to Walmart.
Rich just dropped us off at the twins house about 2 hours ago.

I kind of regret it now because they've been gone way longer than necessary.

"So, how are you?"
I ask softly, remembering how weird he was acting earlier.

I frown when his smile doesn't reach his eyes.

And although I've never thought of Larry as anything more than a brother back in the day, I remember how hypnotising his smile is.

Just like Laurent's eyes.

And Larry Bourgeois is the worst liar I've ever met.

"I'm good. Really glad to be back. I'm really glad to see mon frere so happy again. It's been so long since his smile was genuine, you know?"
He asks, wrapping his arms around me.

I lean my head on his shoulder, smiling a little.

I miss this.

Just sitting around talking to him.

We used to talk for hours.

Literally.

"Oh that's right though. You apparently don't see what everyone else does."
He adds amusedly.

I frown.

"What are you talking about?"

He stares down at me for a while after that.

I try not to feel as freaked out about it.

"Nevermind. Just forget about it, okay?"
He says finally, downcasting his eyes.

I sigh.

"What is with you today?"
I ask worridly.

He frowns, pouting when I move away.

"What's wrong with me?"
He asks right back, looking down at his chest like he has something on his shirt or something.

I roll my eyes at him.

"Nobody else may have noticed but I have. Spill."
I demand, narrowing my eyes as his mouth opens.

"And don't feed me any bullshit. We used to talk about everything. You can tell me, you already know I won't even think about telling anyone."
I add. His mouth closes again.

I fold my arms, waiting patiently.

"I uh. I have been feeling all weird."
He admits awkwardly, looking away.

I nod, getting comfortable.

He looks back over at me. I raise an eyebrow upon seeing how flustered his face gets.

"I think I'm falling in love."
He chokes out.

My mouth falls open.

I was definitely not expecting that.

I thought he was just missing his mom or something.

"Wait, with who? You guys just got here, who..."
I trail off.
