"Don't be too long!" (Y/N) heard Alexander call from inside.

(Y/N) POV

"Where were you thinking of going first?" Eliza asked, glancing at me.

"I don't know, I'm new here. So... I guess... a place that sells baby stuff?" I shrugged.

"Well, we can get baby clothes. That won't be too hard, considering that Hercules could always help us."

"Oh... Is Hercules a... Tailor or something?"

"Yep!" Eliza grinned.

"That's cool." I sighed, which caused a small cloud to form in front of my face. "What about... A crib?"

"We have that, too." Eliza laughed.

"Oh. I guess we really didn't have to go out. Well, we might as well head back." I sighed again.

"Why don't we just go for another walk? I liked going on that one walk with you. It was... Relaxing."

"If you want." I shrugged.

After a while of walking in silence through the streets of New York, Eliza finally spoke.

"How's your ankle feeling?" She asked, noticing how badly I was limping.

"I still hurts, but... I don't really mind it. That much."

"Bummer. You must be pretty thankful John showed up when he did."

"Yeah. I said thank you to him, but I feel like it's not enough." I stared down.

"You know, once you got settled down to sleep in your room and Alex and I were trying to get Lafayette and Hercules to also settle down, John offered to help us and he wouldn't stop talking about you." She smirked.

"All good things, I hope." I giggled, intertwining my fingers together.

"Definitely good things. He kept on saying how he felt bad for you and how... Interesting... You are."

"Interesting?" I tilted my head and stopped in my tracks.

"Yes. He said he'd like to know more about you. Lafayette was also saying some pretty interesting things about you, but... I'd rather not say what he was saying." She giggled.

"Lafayette?" I continued walking so I could stand beside Eliza.

"Yep. Looks like two people have already taken a liking to you, (Y/N). I wouldn't be surprised if one of them asked you to go to the ball with them." She closed her eyes and smiled.

This made me stop again and narrow my eyes at her.

"Oh, please. I highly doubt someone as perfect as John or Lafayette would ask someone like me to the ball." For some reason, Eliza seemed to grin even wider at this statement.

"Oooooh, you think Lafayette and John are... 'perfect'?" She leaned forward so her face was inches from mine and a goofy grin was plastered on her face.

"N-No! That's not what I meant!" I felt my face heat up, crossed my arms and turned away, and after a while I turned back to see Eliza, still standing there with that stupid grin and wiggling eyebrows. "Stop, Eliza! I don't like them or anything! I just meant that..." I paused and looked around, before spotting four leaves sitting next to each other on the sidewalk and I dashed over to them.

"(Y/N), what are you doing?" She watched me, a confused look on her face.

I took a close look at the leaves. Three of them were actually very pretty. The top was a red color, the middle a yellow color, and the bottom a yellow-green color on all of them. The one that was next to those three leaves was just a brown and crumbly leaf. I snatched the four leaves up and stumbled back over to Eliza.
