You wipe the blood off your face, slightly smiling. You loved your job. Not because you enjoyed killing, no because you were good at it. Seeing how you weren't good at most things, you instantly took the opportunity when it was presented to you. Besides, it doubled as a plus because you needed a way to get all your anger and hatred out, and what was a better way than murder? Maybe your logic was a bit flawed, but it didn't matter.
"Y/n, you good?"  A voice rips you away from your thoughts. The face of. Your ex morphs back into the face of the actual victim. You look towards Victor,
"Never better." You reply as you smirk and begin to walk off, "Point me." You say wiping off the blade. You see Victor smile at you, and you instantly knew he was going to ask,
"Dinner?" He asks, as predicted, as you two walk back to Oswalds. You shake your head,
"What was my reply last time?"you ask, pretending to think.
"I think it was yes." He lies, and you nod,
"Right, and as you know, I never say yes twice." You open the door, "So I really hope you enjoyed last dinner." He frowns, and you laugh.

"HE'S NOT DEAD!?!?" Oswald yells, as you make yourself a sandwich. The grunt nods, and you see Oswald flip out, and you can't help but laugh. He looks to you and you immediately shove the sand which in your mouth, trying to swallow it all at once. He walks, waddles over to you, clearly mad. "What was that?" He asks, venom lacing his words, but it didn't phase you. You shrug,
"A  sandwich?" You question, though you knew that, he wasn't asking about what you shoved in your mouth. He chuckles as he looked down,
"That's not what I MEANT." His voice raising at the end of the sentence. You eye him, and you sigh inwardly,
"It's quite funny seeing you flip out." You say honestly, as you turn to make another sandwich. You always seemed to be hungry.
"Why the fuck-" he stops mid sentence seeing your deadly smile as you grip the knife next to you.
"I think it's be wise if you don't finish this conversation," you turn back around, your eyes clearly thirsty for blood, "Now I do work for you, but I do NOT pledge to you my loyalty." You throw the knife and it barely misses his ear, leaving just a scratch, "I could kill you if I wanted to." He gulps, "So don't make me want to. Okay?" He nods and your smile turns back into a childish smile, "Cool." You turn back around to finish the sandwich.
"Y/n?" Oswald asks hesitantly. You turn around with the sand which half in your mouth,
"Yes boss?" You ask as you salute him. You could see him physically deflate at your actions,
   "Where's Victor?" He asks,
"Probably somewhere very cold." You say shrugging. He shakes his head,
"No, not that Victor." He says, facepalming, "Your Victor." You could feel your insides heat up at that idea,
"My Victor?" You question, still unsure if you heard him correctly. He nods and you think about it. You hadn't seen him since you guy's last job yesterday. You shrug, "I don't actually know. My gut says he's probably in the west wing." You two just stand there for a moment before Oswald raises his umbrella,
"Well would you kindly go get him." He says ushering you out,
"Oh yeah. Sure." You say as you fumble out of the kitchen.

"Dammit Victor where are you?" You say to yourself, as you search every room. You really were getting tired of looking for him, you honestly just wanted to go sleep somewhere. You open one of the last doors of the hallway, and you're immediately met with bloodied tally marks cut into a back. Before your brain could register what you were doing, your hand already began running over each one of them. The person immediately turned around and grabbed your wrist pushing you down with a small yelp.
"Y/n?" The voice asks, as you feel the body get off of you. Upon the release of your wrist you open your eyes, and let go of the breath you hadn't known you were holding,
"Victor?" You ask, seeing his familiar face.
"What are you-"You both ask but stop seeing how you were speaking in unison.
"Tally-marks?" You ask, and immediately laugh at the joke you make in your head,
"What?" He asks, his face dropping,
"You must be counting every time I beat you to a kill." You snap in agreement,
"That's the only I could think of that would explain why there would be so many." You look up at Victor, smirking. He flashes a quick smile, but then growls as he tackles you. You both fall to the ground, he atop you, laughing like idiots.
"Only reason?" He asks and you nod, but then smile,
"It could also be how many times you've failed to take me to dinner." You smirk, and he growls again. He pins both your wrist above your head,
"Well if that's the case, you should probably help me stop cutting." He says, his breath tickling your ear, "Whatcha say?" You shiver, but despite it you still manage to knee him in his abdomen.
"I could." You say free from his grasp, "But where's the fun in that?"

"Y/N STOP!" Victor yells and you rip your knife out of the guys chest who lay beneath you. You finally tune back into reality, and your breath hitches at your latest masterpiece. A hand is placed on your shoulder and you jerk around your knife at said person's throat, "You seem on edge a lot more lately." You realize the person was Victor and drop your knife, surprised by your own actions,
"Sorry." You say your voice barely above a whisper. You pick up your knife, and wipe it off, "point me, two points you." Your demeanor completely solemn. Victor looks at you, in thought. Something was bugging you and he knew you weren't going to tell him right off the bat.
"You sure you don't want to count that maiming as two?" He asks, smiling, trying to lighten your mood. You freeze and glare at him, sending a shiver down his spine,
   "Let's go." You say flatly.

You sneak into the house in the dead of the night. You knew technically you weren't supposed to be doing this without Victor, but with what happened last time, you knew this wasn't going to be pretty. Besides you needed to confront them once and for all.  You sighed thinking about what happened to the poor guy, and he was just a henchman, you shake your head. They would deserve what was coming to them. You pull out your brass knuckles. Your eyes go dark, and you smirk, they definitely deserved this after what they did to you. You sneak through the halls, and stop by the door you knew for sure they had been residing in. You stop when you hear the sound of fist colliding to body. You hear a few grunts, and then there are two gunshots,
"Fucking hell!" A voice you knew screams out, "I did nothing to Penguin to deserve this." You hear another fist,
"Oh definitely not." A voice, you identify as Victor says, "This is for what you did to Y/n." Your heart stops, and the voice asks the same question you were thinking,
"Why are you doing this for that fucking cunt?" You hear the sound of a punch and bones cracking this time.
"Because even though the feelings might not be mutual, I love Y/n." He replies and you fall through the door, "Right on time." You look up to see Victor on top of your ex. They were brutally beaten, gunshot wounds in both calves, and their nose clearly broken. Victor grabs their hair pulling up their head, so you were eye to eye. "Apologize." Your breath hitches at this,
"Why the fuck would I-"Their sentence turning into a scream, as Victor jabs a dagger into their shoulder blade.
"Apologize." He says, his voice laced with fury and venom.
"I'm sorry Y/n." They say letting out a starting of apologizes.
"Good." Victor says as he lets go of them then send a bullet through their head. You look at Victor, tears threatening to fall.
"Vic-" You start, but he stops you,
"I meant it." He says as he looks into your eyes, "Every word."
"I guess you can stop adding tally marks then." You say softly, and you could feel arms wrap around you. You wrap your arms around Victor, that embrace feeling like it could last forever.
