Riley's POV:

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and I was in my room jamming out to a new band that I recently just discovered

"Riley, turn the music down!" my mom yelled

"fine" I replied

I turned down the music and was listening to the music. I decided to go to the beach because it was a beautiful sunny day. I called my best friend, Abbie,at the time and we met at the beach. There was no place that I would rather be then at the beach. After playing and messing around in the water I went and dried off, I got changed into a new set of clothes and walked out of the changing rooms to Abbie "hey so I'm planning on going to Starbucks wanna come ?" She asked

"Duh" I tell her and we make our way over to Starbucks

When we're in Starbucks Connor walks in, he's the douche and also best friends with Blake the bad boy they're together 24/7 I wouldn't be surprised if they were dating which of course I know they're not by their track record of girls they score every week.

Me and Abbie are sitting in a booth Connor looks over at me and when he sees that I was watching him he winks making me Scoff and look away "what's crawled up your ass?" Abbie asks me "nothing but I'd be able to enjoy my Starbucks if douche bag Connor hadn't of showed up" I tell her "Ugh you've never even spoken to him" she rolls her eyes at me and so I reply with a shrug and go back to drinking my Starbucks "just admit you like him Riles" Abbie looked at me. I replied with "ew no he is a player seriously?"

"My parents are out of town for the weekend can I stay with you for the rest of the weekend?" Abbie asked "yes of course you know you are part of my family right?" I told her "yeah but I wanted to ask and make sure first" Abbie replied "mi casa es su casa" I said to her.

We headed to my house and we ordered Panera because my parents were still working. I went to go to the door to get the food. I got the food and went back to my room and we sat on my bed and watched Netflix together. We both fell asleep during the show.

The next morning (July 9, 2017)

Abbie woke up before me because I am not a morning person. She went to the kitchen and I woke up. If I'm being completely honest, Abbie has been being weird lately and I don't know whats up with her. Her computer was open, so when she went in the kitchen I looked on the screen. It was just youtube....but then I looked at the tabs and I opened the other tab. What I saw was unbelievable, It was a blog.... about me. I was shocked. I sent the link to myself so I can read it later before she came back then I deleted the text. I was thinking what was she writing about me? is it good? is it bad? A bunch of thoughts went through my head then she came back. "hey you are finally up sleepyhead" Abbie said. "yup, so what do you want to do today?" I questioned "ummm i dont know how about we just stay home because I have to do a project" Abbie said "Okay well then i'll just read my book while you are working on your project" I replied to her and she nodded. "oh no I have to go to the store to get some supplies I will be right back" Abbie said running toward the door.

Okay she is finally gone. I am going to read the blog. I kept reading and I couldn't believe it....it was a gossip blog. I didn't know what to think.... my only friend is gossiping about me. I continued reading. All of the things she said weren't true. OMG two thousand people have seen this? That is like my entire high school. Maybe that is why she is my only friend, well not anymore. I don't understand. What did I do wrong? I just kept thinking until I heard a knock on the door. Should I answer it and tell her?.....no I will just keep it to myself and when she goes back home I won't answer her or talk to her at school tomorrow. I opened the door acting like everything was okay. "okay well that run was interesting, i'll order pizza" Abbie said getting her phone out and ordering pizza.

After a little while of talking like we normally would and eating pizza,she got a call from her mom saying that they were home and I waved her goodbye and she left with the leftover pizza and her project.

It was a little past lunch time and I was filled up by the pizza. I couldn't keep my mind off that by "friend" is gossiping about me to the entire school. What kind of person would do that? Clearly one that doesn't care about anything or anyone. I can't believe I was so stupid to believe that she was my friend. I then was wondering what else she said about me because apparently this gossip blog has been up for a while now. I just kept reading and reading, appalled at some of the things she has made up about me. I then was starting to get depressed and crying about how stupid I was. I went to get food to try to cheer myself up.

The ride to Chipotle was filled with music to cheer myself up because music is my only way to escape everything. I put on my favorite band's songs and it felt like an escape from life for a second, which felt great. I arrived at Chipotle and felt a little better, but not completely because my friend of 10 years just betrayed me. I walked into Chipotle and was standing in line ordering my normal order. After I paid for it I was filling up my drink and at the table in front of the soda machine was Connor. I tried to avoid him.

Connor- Riley? is that you?

me- duh....mmm where is your sidekick?

Connor- he is with some girl

me- wow I didn't know that "the pact" can divide

Connor- well how about instead of just standing there you can actually sit down and have an actual conversation with me

me- wow pretty boy can have a normal conversation without talking about how big that girl's butt is?

Connor (jokingly said)- I already had that conversation with Blake earlier

Me- oh wow thats great

Connor- now come on are you going to sit down with me or continue to be by yourself

I just sat down with him

Connor and I actually had a good conversation and became friends. It turns out he isn't actually that much of a douche bag after all. Long story short he never believed any of the stuff that Abbie said anyway so he is my only "friend" at the moment. It was 1:30pm and after talking with Connor for a while I had to go home. "I will see you at school on Monday'' Connor said before I walked out. I replied with " you too." I was driving home and its a 20 minute drive so I got home at 1:50pm.

I went in my room and was scrolling on instagram when a notification popped up at 1:53pm from a group chat about my favorite band. Little did I know this group chat would change my life.

I was on instagram the entire rest of the day just talking to them and getting to know them and introducing ourselves. After a while of talking and becoming friends we all sent a picture of ourself and they are all absolutely beautiful. They had to go to bed because it was 10 pm (time zones) for them and we all had school the next day.
