💜Betty's P.O.V💜

I've been thinking about it lately, and I think Juggie is acting strange. And I have proof. First of all, he stutters when he's around me. Secondly, he looks at me in a very, loving way. I didn't mind though. We were friends. That's all we'll ever be.

I walk down the halls and after putting my books in my locker, I headed towards Veronica's to join her. We had math together. "Hey B?"
"Yeah V?"
"Can I tell you something?"
"You can tell me anything V," at that moment, her voice became more nervous than usual, her face stern. "B, promise you won't be mad,"
She said.

"Why, what is this about? V, if this is abou--"
"I KISSED ARCHIE!"

I was shook at that moment. People around us stared, some gave Veronica faces of disgust. Because everyone in this school knows me and Archie are the power couple. At least we're supposed to be.

At that point any one of us should have reacted immensely. And that was me. I stormed out and ran out of the doors of the school. I heard her voice saying, "B, wait!" No. Why would she do this?! On my way, I bumped into Jughead. I was furious. So I didn't listen

"Betty, wait wha-what happened?" he said and I didn't answer. I wanted to get out of here. I tried to run but he held me back. "No Betty stop. Stop." he said and I did stop. I felt so emotional that I sank into his embrace. "Shh, it's okay." he said, caressing my hair. After a few minutes, I calmed down and sat with him.

"So, what happened? Is this about Archie, because I swear I could kick his as-" "It was Archie and Veronica..." I murmur loud enough to let him hear. "Why? Betts, tell me," he said serenely. "The-they... Kissed,"
"I'm going to kick that Bitch's ass when I see him!"
"Please don't Juggie, I-I'm not even with him..."
"Well fuck! Either way, he still hurt your feelings!" He said loudly. Just then, we hear an all-too-familiar voice shout my name repeatedly.

I see Juggie's eyes wander over his face, nd instantly feel him let go of my. He stood and ran towards Archie and punched him. "That's for being a jerk!" he said after that. "Betty, I need to talk to Betty! Let me talk to her!" he said while Jughead was blocking him from reaching me. "Jughead wait," I say which made them both stop.

I could feel eyes staring at me. From the corner of my eye I saw Veronica Lodge. I'll never call her V again. As I walk, Jughead stares at me protectively.

"Archie, I need you to tell me. Tell me right now if you love me. Because If not, then I'm done!" I shouted and immediately heard whispers and Veronica walking.

"B, B I-" "Don't call me that! I never want to see you two ever again!" I begin to storm out, Jughead following closely beind me. "Wait Betty, I-I love you!" I heard Archie say. But he was lying. He didn't have the same energy he once had. "Please don't lie to me." I say finally before heading out. I was too hurt to even do anything.
