On-Track: Character Introduction scenes

'Aeson'

"If superpowers are ever going to be a real thing,

 'Aeson' should be the one getting them. 

He would know what to do, well, he would figure it out. 

He wouldn't screw up as badly as the rest of us.

 And that's that."

She buried her face in his chest, heavily breathing,

tears streaming down her face and something changed within him.

He didn't know what it was,

all he knew was that he had to do something.

"The forbidden book", he thought, "Those stories of people going mad, acting irrational,

because they felt compelled to, compelled from the inside out".

"To feel", he whispered to himself. 'Re' lifted up her head. "To feel" she seemed so say, but no sound left her mouth.

He pulled her closer, completely overwhelmed, paralyzed. And so they stayed, pressed against each other, hour after hour, for the whole night.
