Betrayed

Inspiration to this poem: Traitor best friend.

BETRAYED

All this year, I trusted someone.
I treated her as my sibling.
But she turns my heart---breaking.

I know what you've done.
But I keep my mouth shut 'cause I know you will get hurt.
Hurt by savage truths.
That you, my friend. Betrayed your best friend.

You know I love him.
And poisoning his mind keeps you running.
Chasing, and now. Winning.

I can't believe you done this.
You broke our friendship for a guy.
That was my guy.

Now, I hope you're happy.
But remember this.
The guy who truly loves you, will chase you.
And come back for you.

Realizing, "Sorry, I was wrong. I love her, not you."
