"What's wrong?"

Sam was staring at me when I glanced at him.

I smiled and shook my head. "Wala." I told him. Tapos, pinanood ko na ulit yung dinadaanan namin.

Nothing's wrong. Really. It's just, I was just thinking about Nathan. He's sincere when he apologized to me. I can see it in his eyes. But, if he really didn't want to hurt me, then, why did he cheat on me? And, what happened to us earlier? We almost kissed! Wag dapat ako masyadong lumalapit sa kanya.

"Natapos mo trabaho mo?" tanong ulit ni Sam.

"No."

"Want to eat dinner?"

"I'm not hungry."

"Do you wanna go home?"

I sighed. "Sure."

I know I'm being rude to Sam. Kaya lang, wala talaga akong gana. I just wanna go home to relax...

And to think.

Sam just reached for my hand then squeezed it gently. I turned and gave him a smile before I watch outside again.

We were just quiet for the rest of the ride which was fine by me. Pagdating namin sa harap ng building ng condo ko, agad bumaba si Sam para pagbuksan ako ng pinto. Pagbaba ko ng sasakyan, agad kinuha ni Sam yung gamit ko tapos naglakad na kami papasok ng building.

"Hatid na kita hanggang sa floor mo, you want?" he asked when we reached the elevator.

I reached for my things and smiled at him. "I'm alright. You go home and take a rest. Mas pagod ka pa sa akin eh."
