"It's a Transforming Magical Beast, the Kiriko! They can take human form. They're an extremely intelligent creature." Kurapika informed us.

The Kiriko turned to face us and we saw that he was a holding a girl. The beast jumped out of the window, taking the girl with her.

"You two, go follow the Kiriko. I'll… stay here with Leorio for a while." I said to Gon and Kurapika as I stood next to Leorio.

"Got it!" They both said and chased after the Kiriko.

It was a bit while after we figured what was going on. The two boys came back to the cabin and there was two Kiriko.

Right now, we were all standing in front of the cabin.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the Navigators. Our family provides support for the Hunter Exam." One of the Kirikos said.

"I'm their daughter!" The female said. She was the one who was "captured" by one of the Kiriko.

"I'm their son!" The male said. He was the one that was injured.

"The Hunter Exam changes site every year. It's quite difficult to locate it."

"So we Navigators help by guiding the applicants to the site." The son said.

"But we don't help every candidate. We test applicants to see if they're qualified to take the exam. Kurapika-dono. You successfully used the most vague hints to determine that we weren't spouses. The hint was these tattoos which, in this region, mark a woman as single for life. Kurapika-dono demonstrated that he is very knowledgeable. Therefore, he passes." The daughter said to Kurapika.

"Way to go, Kurapika." Gon and I gave him a Hi-5.

"Leorio." The son started.

"Y-yeah?"

"If it weren't for (y/n), you would've never found out my identity. However, you dressed my injuries faster and more thoroughly than any doctor. Most importantly, you continued to reassure me that my wife was okay. Your kindness make you worthy to take the Hunter Exam. Thus you pass." The son said and Leorio sighed in relief.

"(Y/n)-dono." The female Kiriko said.

"Yes."

"I heard you're really good at spotting unseen things. I believe that now. Since, you found out my son's identity even though it was well hidden, it was suppose to be out of people sights. This proves that you can see out of ordinary people's eyesight. Therefore, you pass." She said.

'It was easy to spot the tattoo though...and I didn't even change my eye color to gray...' Then I realized something, ‘wait… she heard that? From who?’

"You did it sister!" Gon said as he bear hugged me.

"Y-yeah..."

"And finally, Gon-dono." The father said.

"Yes!" Gon said as he stopped hugging me and faced them.

"Your superhuman physical ability and powers of observation make you worthy to take the Hunter Exam. You pass." He said. "We will now take you to the exam site."

We were all carried by one Kiriko and Leorio was 'riding' one because he was slightly heavier than us.

"Isn't it great that we all passed?" Gon asked happily.

"It's too early to celebrate. We've merely earned the right to take the real exam." Kurapika said.

"What's wrong with celebrating a little? We're making progress." Of course, Leorio said this.

"Honestly, you people should really think." Kurapika said with a sigh and then smiled.

"Hey! Why must you be such a smart-ass?!" Leorio asked slightly pissed off.

"Stop moving around! If you fall, blame yourself." One of the Kiriko said, panicking. Gon and I started laughing.

And just like that, our adventure slowly begins with every step we make.
