I thought madly.

The old lady looked at him and told him that he can pass, and this made Leorio to get pissed off. I mean, I am also mad but I'm just not showing it since I can get out of control. Leorio wanted to go away but the lady said if he does that, he'll be disqualified. He started yelling at her until he said something about there was no right answer this quiz and he was right.

"Leorio!" Kurapika suddenly yelled.

"Wait! Not another word from you. Say anything but the answer, and you're immediately disqualified." The old lady warned the blonde Kurta.

'So Kurapika also knows the answer..'

"Here is your question. Your son and daughter have been kidnapped. You can only rescue one. Select 1 for your son, or 2 for your daughter. Which will you rescue?"

I closed my eyes as she was counting down from 5 and the next thing I heard was Kurapika and Leorio arguing. Kurapika was telling him that we gave our right answer which was silence-- we weren't supposed to say a number. I opened my eyes and saw that the old lady showed us the correct way to the cedar tree. I stood next Kurapika.

"Walk two hours and you'll reach the top. A couple lives in the cabin beneath that tree. They serve as Navigators. If you meet their standards, I believe that they will guide you to the exam site." The old lady said.

I was about to say something but I heard my brother sigh.

"It's no use. I can't think of an answer." Gon said as he sat down on the ground, catching everyone's attention.

"Gon, you can stop now. The quiz is over." I said as I sat in front of him.

"I know. But...what if we run into a situation like that and we can only save one person...what should I do then? It wouldn't be right to choose just one...but I think one day, I might have to make that choice."

I closed my eyes and hit Gon on the head. He shouldn't be thinking like that...

"Ow, sis! That hurt! Why did you do that for?!" He asked me, pouting. I opened my eyes and looked at him depressingly, he looked surprised.

"Let's just focus on getting to the exam site for now… okay?"

"Sure..." He answered. I smiled tightly and then helped him stand on his feet. I bowed at the old lady before heading through the doors.

There was a frown on my lips however. ‘A choice to pick only one of the two special people… I hate that.’

It was dark already and we finally found the cabin that was under the cedar tree. We walked up the small stairs and knocked on the door.

"Hello? Anyone home?" Leorio asked as he knocked.

"Are they out?" Gon asked me and I shrugged.

"We're coming in." Leorio said as he turned the doorknob and opened the door wide open.

We were surprised at what we were seeing. A magical beast was inside and there was an injured man on the floor. Kurapika took out his weapon which was a pair of bokken swords linked by a thread and Gon took out his fishing rod.
