Part Two - Friends?

Sugar's POV:
I noticed that I was blushing and released Melon's cheeks. "M-make yourself at home!" I stuttered and went in the living room. Melon followed, his face looked like I splashed red paint all over his cheeks. I really like his hoodie, so much floof! He's just too cute. Melon sat on the couch and grabbed the t.v. remote. I sat next to him and smiled wider. He turned the t.v. on and Mettaton came on the screen. I cringed immediately and so did Melon. I don't like Mettaton because he gets TOO close to my brother. Melon looked at me. "I can put new channels on here, if you're okay with that." Melon suggested. New channels? How? "Sure!" I accepted, curious and excited.

Melon went up to the t.v. and took a screwdriver (and other tools) out of his pockets. "This'll only take a bit..." Melon said as he started to work.

Melon finished working and the t.v. remote was a lot bigger than before. He grabbed the remote and clicked one of the new buttons. A bunch of multi-colored boxes appeared on the t.v. screen. I gawked at the t.v. screen and I heard Melon chuckle. On the 2D boxes were Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, and more. Melon went on Netflix (AnD cHiLl) and put a comedy on. "How did you...?" I muttered, looking at him. He's so smart! I need to stop myself from calling him all these things...FIRST IT WAS ADORABLE AND NOW IT'S SMART AND CUTE?! WHAT NEXT, SE- "I'm just using the wifi from the surface, I'm sure the humans won't mind." Melon explained, smiling.

My face was on fire. Is this what chocolate feels like when it's melting? We started watching the movie, which made me laugh a lot. A lot of giggles too. I got lost in thought in the middle of the movie, imagining Melon with glasses.

I woke up, realizing I had fallen asleep. I opened my eyes and blushed deeply. Melon was hugging me close, and I was hugging Melon close. I heard only Melon's soft snores. I didn't want to move, because of how cute Melon looks in his sleep. I hugged him a bit closer and buried my face in his sweater hood, blushing a bit more. I felt Melon's arms tighten a bit and a chuckle. I looked up to see that he was awake. He had a smirk plastered on his face, but he was blushing a dark red. I felt like my cheeks were on fire. "I-I..." Was all I could say. Melon giggled and pecked my head, making me blush even more (if possible).

Melon closed his eyes and I buried my face into the crook of his neck. I closed my eyes too, tightening my grip on Melon. "G-good morning." I whispered, wondering about my brother. "Good mornin'." Melon replied, grinning. After a while of cuddles, I got up and started making breakfast. Chocolates and ice cream! But...what does Melon eat? I looked through the fridge and found...a watermelon? Melon eats watermelons? I mean...it would make sense...? I cut the watermelon into slices and tried one for myself. It...actually isn't bad. Not bad at all!

I brought the watermelon slices in the living room and set it on a table in front of Melon. He looked surprised when I brought it to him. "You have watermelon here?" Melon said, already reaching for a slice. "I guess so. I found it in the fridge...so I cut it up and tried it. I wonder if it tastes like you~" I said, the last part was supposed to sound flirty. Melon blushed a dark red. "It depends which part of me~" Melon flirted back, making me blush a light blue. I totally wasn't thinking wrong when he said that...t-totally (a word that starts with d and ends with k, that's what you were thinking about ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) s-s-shush! You're making me break the fourth wall! (Whoops, sorry.) Yeah...okay. (Somebody get the hot glue...)

ANYWAYS, after that I giggled a bit and went back to get my ice cream. I brought the ice cream into the living room and started shoveling it into my mouth (with a spoon). Ice cream is my usual breakfast other than chocolate bars, cereal, candies...yup. Melon peeked at my ice cream, which I noticed. "Want some?" I asked, looking at him. Melon blushed a tint and nodded. I put my ice cream down and went back into the kitchen to grab some more. I got a vanilla ice cream bucket and brought it to Melon. "It tastes really good." I said as I put a spoon in it and handed the bucket to Melon.

Melon took a tiny bite of the ice cream and nodded. "This IS really good!" Melon decided. "I told ya!" I said, giggling a bit. I then continued to eat my ice cream.
